The lady taking my order was not paying attention. First, she ignored me until the manager came from the kitchen and took my order….then She was leaning on the counter behind the register as if she was too tired to stand up as she took my Cash ( then touch food with her very long nails without gloves or washing)……..
I had to repeat everything to her multiple times. She barely looked at me. ????
I ordered my fries “crispy/well done” ( like I Always do at Zaxbys). The food came very fast - so fast that I knew the fries could not have been done. Sure enough they were limp and soggy! I showed her the receipt that said “well done” and asked her to send them back. When I got them, they were dripping grease and not cooked properly. It appeared that they stuck the old ones in the grease for a few seconds then put them back on the plate! Worst fries I ever had from Zaxby’s- grease sponges!!????
I agree with others as well about the very Small size of the strips. So small I thought for sure there were only 2! Had to search for the third which was not much bigger than a French fry!! Fingers were also so greasy I squeezed enough grease out to soak a napkin- NOT normal for Zaxby’s!!!

Had some trouble ordering at first as the employee remarked “they can’t do big zax snack meals” which is a funny statement to make at a place that’s business revolves primarily around the components in a big zax snack “chicken tenders, fries” but after a co worker corrected an odd oversight, I was able to put in an order for my meal. Food came out relatively quick. Tenders were good, the fries were already but a little too soft instead of crispy, and the toast was solid. Overall a slightly odd, but about average experience.
This place can’t ever get it right. They always forget my extra boiled egg on my Cobb Salad., and when they do remember the bacon it’s never crumbled on there, but it’s whatever. I don’t say anything because what are they going to do ? Absolutely nothing. Give me whole strips of bacon on the side ? I want it done right and I want it done right the FIRST time.
Now I get here today, to pick up my already ready online order, that was set to be picked up inside so I can grab it and go and avoid this long behind drive thru line, and the door is locked and the dining area is closed. How does that make any sense !?
Do better. Get it together. Stop wasting peoples’ lunch time because you all want to do whatever you want to do.
UPDATE: I’m back at my desk now about to chow down and they gave me an extra tender, so I’ll give some grace. When they good, they good. When they’re bad, they’re terrible.

My order was missing food and flavor. I asked from extra seasoning on the fries and all the entire families fry orders had no seasoning. The cookies I ordered were not in the bag. I could get in touch with management to let them know and to have there staff pay attention to online orders. I live 27 minutes away from this location and only went there because it was the one on the way home. So this issue can't be resolved for me or be prevented for anyone else who orders from the Wheeler Rd. location today. Very disappointing.
Service is terrible at this location. Missing items, cold fries, and rude employees. At least the Texas toast was cooked. Just skip and go to Chick Fil A if you want decent service or Popeyes if you want rude service but good chicken. I will not be using this location again.
Food is usually good. However, if you go to the drive thru, they will not advise you that they put your mobile order on the front counter expecting you to come inside. Waited 20 min in line and the order was ready. Should've just said can we come inside and we would have done so. Other Zaxby's aren't like this.
This is the worst Zaxbys in Augusta!
Pulled to the drive through and waited 10 minutes for anyone to address me first. The lady proceeds to say they are only serving Big Zack snacks (chicken tenders, fries and Texas toast) they are out of everything!…….. How?
Anyway, I just wanted something small. I was originally going to order the veggie egg-rolls.
I asked the cashier, if I could order the Kids Fingerz, she says no, we are only taking orders for the big zack snack because that’s all we have. I said ma’am it’s the same thing! Tenders and fries with no toast! She then says we have no kid boxes. Who tf is eating the boxes! It could’ve been served in a regular box or bag!
I rode off because if y’all don’t want to work, get off the clock and stay home!
Other than the really small chicken tenders this place is great. The tenders used to be really big.
