Missed our sauces that we had to pay several extra dollars for which in itself is ridiculous, then after getting home I realize that my 13 dollar chicken finger meal (adult sized) had these little nugget sized chicken strips, they are not even half a portion size of what they should be compared to other restaurants. The service was slow and the food portions were extremely disappointing.
I visited Zaxby’s in Shelbyville, KY, and had a wonderful experience. The location is very convenient, right off the main road with plenty of parking spaces, so it’s easy to stop by. The drive-thru was quick and efficient, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, making the entire visit a pleasant one. As for the food, Zaxby’s never disappoints. I ordered the chicken tender plate, and it was amazing. The chicken wasn't too greasy and cooked just right, seasoned to perfection. The restaurant itself was clean and well-kept, and the atmosphere inside was casual and comfortable. The prices are very reasonable, and I feel like I get great value for the quality of food I receive.
Overall, I highly recommend this Zaxby’s location in Shelbyville. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite through the drive-thru or dining in, the service is great, the food is always fresh, and the prices are affordable.
I used to eat at this location at least twice a week, minimum. It was, by far, the best choice of food in town. Then, last year, the quality dropped horribly. I tried avoiding it after continuously getting disappointing food. So, I just tried it again, today. The sweet teas were water with no sugar nor tea. Fries were hard. Needless to say, another disappointless visit. Sad, because I really like Zaxbys
I had to go inside and get my own curb side pickup order since I was stuck waiting awhile and had to get back to work . Not happy.
Update, they made it right. Got a free meal hot an fresh thank you
No napkins or utensils for my Zalad & coleslaw. I ordered double coleslaw and got single and fries. At least the food taste and quality was spot on.
If you are looking to eat okay fast food out of a dumpster than look no further! Nearly all the tables had food and crumbs on them so we had to clean our own table. One table had old drinks still on it. The floor was dirty and you could see were spilled drinks dried up. The bathroom had paper towels on the floor and one of the towel dispensers was out of towels (normally that’s nothing because it’s hard to say when the paper towels went out but given the complete neglect of the diner room, it leads one to think it had been out for a while). The trash hadn’t been taken out so our trash just sat on top of the over flowing trashcan. The franchise license should be pulled or new staff should be brought in. I know this is not Morton’s and I don’t hold it to that standard, but this place was abysmal.
Go to another Zaxby’s or do yourself one better and go to Culver’s.
Pretty good chicken sandwich and the fries are big and meaty. Zax sauce is really good and washed it down with some sweet tea. Got 3 cookies and under $11. Good service and good atmosphere.
Staff is friendly. Restaurant was clean. The kickin chicken sandwich was great!
