Very nice location now, under new management with a new opening time of 10:00am great customer service, good food, clean restrooms. Everything is made to order here , So it takes time to make. This location has DoorDash/Uber eats pick up. So please tip your delivery driver. At Lunch time to drive thru is long. And inside dining is ok but flows ok for the most part.
Look the food is almost always good. But is it worth it honestly? We are addicted to the chicken finger tacos and zax salads. But for our family of 4 to eat it’s over $40 and the drive thru AND curbside pickup using the app are over a thirty minute wait every. Single . Time. The staff is unprofessional and rude and as much as I love the food— should I really be asking myself each and everytime I go “do I really want to deal with bad attitude and waiting over 30 minutes?” Do better.
Just like most places in Hinesville they do well for awhile then begin to slacking up. Food is never good just okay. Especially the last few times going. Fries are old, unseasoned or overly seasoned. Ask for fresh fries. Toast is cold or stale. Chicken is warm not hot. Make sure you got everything because they will forget half your order or at least one or two things.
I only stopped to try the fried cheesecake bites but I ordered a Zax snack as well. My food was still hot and fresh by the time I made it home which was a great plus! The fried cheesecake bites are tasty but they do have more of a frozen item taste. Overall,I like them. Service was great and delivery was smooth.
Every time we order food here, the service isn’t the best, the fries are always old & not enough on the plates, & the store itself isn’t clean nor stocked. We just DoorDash our order & this is what it looks like. This is only our 3rd meal from here. Even though we understand they’re understaffed, receiving old food is not okay.
I’m normally not the type to leave reviews but with my experience at this Zaxbys location I must. First I want to start with the positives. The restaurant is normally clean when I go here. Never has an odor. Some shift managers are normally professional. At the beginning when the restaurant opens that is the BEST time to come to this location! Everything is cooked to perfection!! Those are the only positives I can say. Negatives. Some other managers and certain employees can be rude and unprofessional. Throughout the day as the chicken is cooked I noticed the chicken begins to have a smell of overused burnt grease. Which shows they do not change the grease throughout the day. I really hope this issue can be fixed because if so that would be an amazing problem solver to the quality of the food. I once informed the store of this issue and the manager on shift that evening offered no apology or didn’t say anything as he proceeded to issue my refund. If these issues were fixed I’d definitely give a five star review.
I ordered the 4 pic combo and mind you I never leave reviews but the I got the smallest chicken fingers ever and I never been so upset by zaxsbys
This Zaxby’s always disappoints. The picture with the open zax sauce & the few little fries & dryly dipped chicken tender's is from Hinesville’s Zaxby’s. That day the order was supposed to be 2x the extra fry. The order with the drenched tenders and the boat load of fries is from a different Zaxby’s located in Savannah. The order from Savannah isn’t 2x the fry, it’s just a substitution of the coleslaw from the chicken tender plate. Yet my plate that’s supposed to be doubled has been poorly served & lacking in fries. I could easily count all of my fries & each time I come here my food is cold as soon as I grab my bag from the employee at the drive through. Also the times I’ve tried to go in and get food at night the wait time has always been horrible. I’ve tried numerous times to give them another chance, but every time I do my food is always a mess or they don’t give me exactly what I ask for. I understand mistakes, but these occur way too often & I am tired of my money being wasted here.
