I had an absolutely horrible experience at this location that I feel compelled to warn others about. I ordered my meal expecting decent food and service, but instead, I was met with complete disappointment and disgust.
Both ranch packets I opened contained what can only be described as an unsanitary mess. The ranch had what appeared to be spoiled or contaminated portions inside, with chunks that looked completely off. The sight alone was enough to ruin my appetite. It was revolting and made me question the hygiene and quality control standards at this establishment.
To make matters worse, the staff didn’t seem to care when I brought this to their attention. There was no apology, no replacement, and no attempt to make it right. It’s clear Zaxby’s doesn’t value its customers or the quality of its food.
Save your time and money—this place isn’t worth the risk. I will not be returning and will make sure to share my experience with others to steer them clear of this disaster of a restaurant.
I was using the mobile app to order ahead and pick it up. Jokes on me, I suppose. NOBODY was even there. Not a single soul. I mean I was there at least 2.5 - 3 hours before the store was even suppose to close according to their website. All I saw was a revolving door of people leaving because they saw the place was closed too. Like at least 20-30 people. If you are gonna be closed then at least show it on the schedule. Honestly…I’m pissed because now I need to find when they are open to get a refund.
First time visiting a Zaxby’s location. Was excited to try the Southern Fried Shrimp. I tried to order it but the cashier informed me that they stopped selling shrimp last week (and made me feel stupid for even asking.)@zaxbys, your digital signage menu DIRECTLY BEHIND THE CASHIER says otherwise. Also, had no idea Mr. Beast teamed up with Zaxby’s as there was nothing on the menu to signify that relationship. Randomly noticed an oddly placed cardboard cutout by the back door. Looks like this place needs to up its marketing game and also teach the cashiers a little more southern hospitality.
Had a wonderful experience! Great food, great service. The staff actually seemed happy to be there and were very polite.
My visit to this location was an absolute disaster from start to finish. I came in expecting a decent lunch, but instead, I was met with one of the most revolting dining experiences I’ve ever had.
The moment I opened the Zax Sauce, I knew something was wrong. It was watery, separated, and had a sour stench that immediately made my stomach turn. To make matters worse, the burger I ordered was no better—it was barely warm, the bun was stale, and the meat tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. The combination of the off-putting sauce and the poorly prepared burger was enough to make me push my plate away entirely.
When I approached the staff to report the issue, their response was as disappointing as the food. They brushed off my concerns like it didn’t matter and offered no solution—no apology, no replacement, nothing. Their attitude was dismissive and downright disrespectful.
The restaurant itself didn’t inspire any confidence either. Tables were sticky, trash was overflowing, and the whole place felt like cleanliness was the last thing on anyone’s mind.
This experience has left me with no desire to ever step foot in this establishment again. If you care about quality food, decent service, or even basic hygiene, avoid this place at all costs. It’s not worth the risk.

Went to the drive thru and ordered some funnel cakes for my family. The line was long and moving excruciatingly slow. Finally got to the front after 25 minutes to be told they were out of funnel cakes. After waiting almost half an hour. I should have asked for something else for free but I was so frustrated I just drove off. I would like a coupon or gift certificate at least for my trouble.
Restaurant score 96. Service excellent. Food pippibg hot and fresh. It was one of the best Zaxbys I've ever visited. Will be
back.
Restaurant parking needs help. You walk through the drive-thru line to get inside and vice versa when leaving. OMG, who was on duty for planning and design ;)
But that won't stop me from coming back.

I recently stopped by the Zaxby's location in Rocky Mount, and I was thoroughly impressed! From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and welcoming attitudes. The service was prompt, friendly, and attentive throughout my visit.
But the real star of the show was the food - absolutely delicious! I indulged in their famous wings, and they were cooked to perfection. The flavors were bold, and the portion was generous. The fries were crispy, and the salad was fresh. Everything was clearly made with care and attention to detail.
The atmosphere was clean, modern, and comfortable. I felt right at home enjoying my meal. Overall, I'm so glad I chose Zaxby's for my dining experience. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by - your taste buds will thank you!
