So I’ve ordered here a lot and have had mostly good experiences. That have messed up my order, as in gave me a completely different order than I purchased, I called and the manager put me down for a redo order. I couldn’t come back the same day so it was a couple of days later I picked up my order. The food they gave me was horrible, it was the shrimp meal sorry don’t order it, it was not good.So today (626/24) I typically get the 5 piece wings meal and order online to be picked up in drive thru. I’ve done this several times. Today I get there 1 car in the drive thru I pull up and the girl says I can’t get your food you have to come in. If I wanted to come in I would have came in and ordered and not ordered online. What is the point of offering to pick it up through the drive thru if I can’t do it. I mean the girl didn’t sound like she really wanted to be there or something else, idk. I go in to get my order. They had it in the wrong area and then said I needed to bring up my receipt On my phone. Never had to do that before just had to give me name and they gave me the food. She said it was on the rack but said she needed to verify it. I have my name embroidered on my shirt that was on the ticket. I shouldn’t have to look through my phone for the receipt. It’s not like I went to the rack and looked for the name and then came to the cashier. I went straight to the cashier to get my food. So I guess they were trying to say I was making it up. Not sure but it will be a while before I go back. They need better customer service and if we can’t pick up our food in the drive thru it needs to be taken off their website. Of course barely any sauce on the wings and the sauce is not even half full. They increase the price and then cut back, why should we pay for that. Ridiculous.
The Shift manager turned my entire day around (Sheree) She was pleasant to my husband and I, but what stuck out to me is she was extremely pleasant to her team and problem solved with them, all in the middle of an after school rush. People like Sheree make it worth walking in ordering your food, and sitting down to enjoy. This location was also very clean.
I would rather call the manager to discuss this, but my call won’t go through. My daughter and I are sick. She did a DoorDash order for us. The first time, they delivered it to the wrong address, but the second time Zaxby’s left the fries - the best part! Again, I wish I could get through their line!
So this used to be my favorite Zaxbys to go to. Customer service was always great, food always tasted and looked appetizing until I went this Wednesday. I usually go in for carryout so this day I went inside. I am ServSafe certified and saw many violations but ignored them because I was in a hurry. You should not be taking orders and making orders without washing your hands in between. Waited about 15 minutes for someone to take my order and after finally getting my order, I went to my car and ate while I drove. Well I should’ve looked inside the box before eating. I have never experienced this type of service nor presentation of my food from this Zaxbys and was extremely disappointed. And my order was obviously, literally THROWN together. Used to be my favorite Zaxbys but I guess I’ll have to find another one in the DeKalb County area.
Worst experience of my life…. Live close to this zaxbys so come here a lot, people are usually nice in restaurant, but not today. Staff ignored me completely for over 20 minutes. When I tried to ask where to get my order they also ignored me. I asked twice, when given my food finally had so much attitude with me as if the food wasn’t sitting ready from the moment I walked in and I had politely been waiting. Over it.
Dewayne and his team were super helpful! They had just gotten a rush and managed it so well! Gave our orders in a timely matter even with the rush
Those women who worked that drive thru tonight really are TOP TIER. I came around 815 like everyone else apparently lol. The drive thru was busy. But the interpersonal skills these women showed was truly phenomenal. They really left no customer behind. Major kudos to this team! And the food came out hot & correct.
They are very rude there. Mostly in the evening.. on multiple occasions I’ve spent money here and the service is the poorest. I ordered a grilled Cobb salad and apparently they were out of something I ordered with the salad (I heard one of the workers say “tell her we are out of XYX.” The I’m assuming manager (A woman with burgundy locs) Shrugs it off to the employee bringing my salad to the window.. the employee hands me my salad and no one says “we are out of xyz , do you want something else” horrible choice in management of they are encouraging the employees to provide horrible customer service.
Days prior I ordered 2 salads on DoorDash. A $50 order.. the door dash pickup person calls me to tell me they are at the restaurant to pick up my order and the manager tells them that “after 920pm we don’t grill anything “ this is well after the restaurant order was placed and confirmed. I said ok.. please cancel the order then so that I can order something else from elsewhere. They never cancelled the order and the DoorDash person had to bang on the door to get any type of help. This place needs to seriously clean house.. it’s sad.
