The food was underwhelming. The chicken and fries were lukewarm at best. No salt on the fries. The chicken was tough and bland. It was like it had been sitting out for hours. Disappointing for our first time at Zaxbys. Not sure why people said it was a great place to go. The only positive was the guy at the window was polite and friendly.
I mean, for a chicken chain this place has a pretty decent salad with good flavor and great portion. I was on a detox so I had to be the guy who modified something awesome, so I tried it without cheese, tortillas, and no ranch- got the chicken “healthier” by having it grilled and I got the lowest of fat vinaigrettes they sold and the salad was still really delicious! So that was a nice surprise! My friend got the Southwest Zalad the way it comes and it looked amazing and delicious too. Good thing to note here is the chicken is pretty tasty and they are awesome about modifying things for you and it’s made fresh to order. The ambiance is pretty neat inside so it’s worth a nice little lunch or get together while out on crazy Central Ave.
Always love Zaxby's but have never been to this location and was excited to see it on our way through and received excellent service and great food. I took two teens through drive through after a long day, and I misunderstood the very nice person through the speaker and ordered incorrectly on sauce for wings for one of them. I circled back around, and they were so nice, understanding (even tried to make me feel like it wasn't my fault but assured them my hearing and ordering an item we had never ordered was the culprit), and made it the way teen wanted quickly with a smile.
I have never once written a review for any business or restaurant but this place simply has to get a shout-out from me somehow. I have never seen a Zaxby's until I had come here, so maybe most locations are as superb as this. My wife and I have been eating here every week now and each and every time my order has been perfect, chicken nicely prepared and generously seasoned, same goes for the fries! The toast is always nice and buttery and never too burnt or crispy, or too soggy. When ordering the Mr Beast Box, the chocolate bar is put into a separate bag with the sauces so your food does not melt it. Even after receiving very timely service, one of the employees still apologizes for the wait. Each and every employee I've interacted with has greeting me hospitality and a smile! I highly recommend eating here over some other fast food chicken chains.
The food is really good and fresh! The staff are very friendly and helpful! The restaurant is so clean and orderly! I highly recommend the kickin' chicken sandwich meal, but with nuclear sauce instead!!
I got the chicken club. I always enjoy Zaxby's crispy chicken sandwiches or strips. Their salads are great too.
Update: I got there chicken Philly sandwich. It was really great.
7pm on Saturday. Didnt want to do dishes (according to employee) so they made my Cobb salad in a small portion so he could put it in a to-go container. The 4 fing plate with double fried came with a single portion. The fried mushrooms came with 8 of them and were warm and greasy not hot. Employees didn't seem to care.
The Google Maps Menu is not accurate, which is a bit annoying. We were meeting someone here so I looked at it to get an idea what I wanted. Then I arrive and they say they do not have the Buffalo Dip and Tator Chips Zapitizor that is listed. There are photos of celery in the photos posted by the owner and they said they don't have celery. Just update your information, please.
