First visit at the end of April 2024. Ordered a signature club meal without cheese. The order came with cheese, and no bacon. Also ordered a chicken finger plate meal. The fingers tasted really salty to us. I stripped the breading off the chicken, and the chicken itself was super salty to us. Fries seemed partially fresh, and partially old. Floors of the restaurant were sticky. The men's bathroom had a full garbage can, and appeared to have not been cleaned in days.
I ordered the family chicken tender meal. The chicken was fresh. The fry containers barely had fries in them. They could have placed both orders in one and they weren't fresh. The bad part was hubby walked over to get the order. They had it packed up and with 20 chicken tenders we had 1 sauce pack ????
First experience here while on my way to Florida. They did not disappoint ???? I got my best friend’s (from GA) order w/ double toast or whatever it was, and I was so happy. The spicy zax sauce is better than the regular.
People really need to learn what good customer service is. It has sadly disappeared. I pull up to order and the person says hi I said hello how are you. Nothing silence so I didn't think she heard me then she says can you go ahead and order. I stated I spoke and said hi how are you and you didn't say anything in response so I didn't think you heard me. Then sarcastically she says go ahead order. Not oh sorry I'm fine and you or just my bad nothing then to have attitude in your voice too. It's crazy bc food is getting soo expensive and quality is getting worse and worse so you think you could at least provide decent customer service? I managed 4 restaurants in the past and this kind of stuff use to not fly I guess now corporations don't care it's sad.
If I could give a 0 I would. No customer service! Hate to give this rating as I love Zaxbys but this location needs a definite improvement! No management seen either. Waited as the only person in the dine line for 20 minutes before I was acknowledged.
This Zaxby's is, hands-down, the BEST in the Florence area. The Evans Street location? Trash. 2211 W. Lucas Street Zaxby's? Amazing.
The staff is super helpful and responsive. Orders are accurate 99.9% (which, let's be real, is rare for most Zaxby's locations; half the time, you're lucky to even get your sauces at other locations). On the super rare occasions there are mistakes, they fix them immediately, no questions asked (literally, one time they gave me a small drink when I ordered a large; girl at the window happily fixed me another drink, no problem).
I've spoken with the manager on several occasions about what a great job he and his staff are doing. Super sweet, professional guy.
Again, I go out of my way to go to this Zaxby's location in particular. Evans Street may have improved, but I've been burned too many times by poor service, surly staff, dirty tables, long lines, inconsistent food quality, etc.
Drive the extra five or ten minutes and go to THE One True Zaxby's location in Florence--2211 W. Lucas Street.
The place is clean and food is good and always fresh. -1 star for the wait of 10+ minutes for an order of a single salad, while the place was not busy at all. But the salad was well worth the wait. Bottom line: it's a good fast food place with a good food if you don't mind spending some time in line and waiting 10-15 minutes for your order.
We stopped there for dinner. We stood at the counter for almost 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. The employees are not friendly. The food was just okay. The restaurant is dirty. The floors need to be cleaned and both trash cans were overflowing. The bathroom is also dirty. I would not recommend eating here.
