Ordered a few times from here, and about 40% of the time it’s correct. Ordered the Nibbler meal and asked to substitute the Zax sauce for ranch, only 1 time have I gotten it the way I asked, most of the time they’ll still put the zax sauce on it. Today I ordered and they just flat out didn’t put any sauce on them at all. The fries today were also old and stale.
Stopped here because my riding buddy wanted some so I grabbed their #1 Combo. I grew up on Zaxbys. The meal was decent, but it's not like it used to be. It may be the type of "oil" used, but something is different now.
Kobe really helped me out one night. Even though the location had closed, I had a delivery to pick up there and Kobe made sure I was able to successfully pick up and completed the order. Thanks bud. Courtesy goes a long way. Most locations wouldn't even answer the phone much less take the time to help me.
We love this Zaxby’s! It’s the best one we have been to! My ONLY complaint is the restaurant has been so hot within these last few days. It’s been hard to actually enjoy our meal. Otherwise, great food & great customer service! The Defuniak Springs location should take notes on the food and service Crestview provides!
I made an order, fooled around to pay, and asked the lady if there was any whole time or wait time before she took my car to process payment. She said no not at all.
She took my card process the payment and proceeded to tell me to pull forward and they'll bring me my food.
15 minutes later I asked for a refund instead of receiving my food...
Gave my card to the manager Shelly for the refund..
Although she was nice I'm interested to see how things turn out ☺️..
All the customer service workers here aside from Shelly Are Young and rude, however at the fact Shelly allowed this to happen I questioned her management skills.
It's not okay to have an extremely long wait time, yet having people pull forward to look good in corporates eyes ????
This Zaxby was not busy when I dined in. They served the food extremely fast, but no food quality was lacking. The restroom was very clean as was the dining area. Their service was spot on without any errors. My only critique is that the toast had a strange taste to it, but that is a minor issue.
They got some really good chicken tenders and fried mushrooms. Onion rings r pretty good as well. The chicken, as well as the other fried sides too actually, sometimes is not as crispy as you would expect or want from a fried chicken joint. But places have their off days I guess so I'm not gonna hold that against them. My sister mentioned the Cole slaw being bland. I didn't try it myself but she loves Cole slaw so I'll take her word on it. The chicken looked great though. The fries didn't even really look visually crispy though I'm afraid. Maybe a bigger vent hole on the the take out trays will help avoid this from happening with food getting soggy and losing its crisp.
There needs to be a serious look at management. The only consistent thing I saw at this place was the workers consistently getting their own drinks. Several of the displays for surveys were empty. The table stands were missing condiments and dirty. General disarray. The Cobb Grilled Zalad was of sufficient quantity and really good and flavorful. But the Texas toast that also came with it was greasy, I do not believe they are using real butter. The fried chicken Snax pack was cooked well. But the fried chicken was a bit salty. From looking at the calorie information, other than a salad, there is very little healthy food to eat if you are trying to watch your waistline. They need more grilled options.
