Ordered a plate through Uber Eats and wanted Barqs Root Beer…this is what I got.
I stopped in Saturday afternoon & got a 5 finger chicken plate with an extra coleslaw, an extra piece of toast & a Zaxby's house salad.
My daughter was in the Candler hospital at the time, so once my food was ready I drove directly to the hospital. Traffic was light & I was able to get there between 20 & 25 minutes. I got the food up to her room ,unpacked it and the 1 st thing I noticed when I tried a French fry was that it was definitely old & cold, so I tried a chicken finger & it tasted like it was cooked yesterday & reheated.
Not good
My wife opened the house salad & it didn't taste fresh either.
My order cost nearly $30 dollars & it was not worth it. If you decide to eat at this Zaxby's it's best to eat your food in the restaurant.
If it's old & cold like mine was you'll be able to either get fresh food or get a refund...
My family & I will definitely NOT revisit this restaurant.
If my daughter wouldn't have been in the hospital I would have brought that food back & either gotten fresh food or a refund.
When I pulled up and saw the line I dreaded to wait, but Candace and her co workers worked fast and efficiently with order! Was in and out within less than 10 minutes Thank you keep it up!

I placed an online order for $33. I arrived to pickup the order which was paid for online. They said there was no order for me. The payment for the order had been debited from my account. They said their system was messed up. So they want to send me with no food & no refund. This is unacceptable. When you order food you should leave with food especially if the payment went through. I should not have to wait hours or days for a refund. The M.O.D was no help & assisted in no way to help make this right. This used to be my favorite place to get chicken but apparently lack of customer service will take me elsewhere.
Very slow service today, we ordered pretty quickly inside but they obviously prioritized the drive through and it took over 20 minutes to get our order. The food was made well and the order was accurate
Fine patrons of zaxbys, go to any zaxbys but this one. At this zaxbys I said my order, and then the cashier begrudgingly asked for my name and if it has here or to go. What I do not understand is why she did not ask for this information while she stared at me for several seconds before I took my order. No greeting, no nothing. I didn’t know if I should speak or not. The waiting was uncomfortable and made me upset with zaxbys before I even ate. The food was fantastic as always, but I couldn’t help but feel a melancholy from my prior experience trying to order. The girls name according to the receipt was “Edward m.” I feel this is not true (another failure on their part). It was lunch time on November 25th 2024. I can only imagine what the drive thru customers heard through the speaker. Please work on hiring kinder people.
literally just sat outside for 30 minutes after the drive thru just for our food to be sitting on the counter cold. staff was just standing around drinking milkshakes.
