My husband LOVES Zaxby’s so we frequent this location. The quality continues to go down. Our last visit I ordered a 6 finger plate with a large fries and fries for the second side. The fries didn’t even fill the sections. I ordered a kids meal and received 8 fries. They are frequently out of beverages and they do not season the fries anymore. The fingers are getting smaller. It’s really disappointing because the employees are friendly but there seems to be an issue with ordering supplies they always run out of items at night.
Just left. Just look at the photos. The tacos look like they have been sitting for hours and there were no fries in the chicken finger plate. I ask for toast instead of coleslaw. What I got was double toast, no coleslaw and no fries. I'll be going to the zaxbys down the street.
Zaxbys is Zaxbys as far as the food goes. It's always going to be decent.
This store though apparently has a problem with flies. A whole bunch of them, to the point the Health Department would likely consider this an infestation. I took several photos but I didn't get all the flies, dead and/or alive. I took pictures of just one corner of the store but had another diner point out many others.
To the manager of this store: Do better.
Following up with an updated review since my experience 2 mo ago. Food was much better since last time. Chicken was fresh, fries were seasoned, none of the food was cold. Staff was very friendly as always. Owner must have resolved issues since last visit. He responded promptly to my last review, and shows he cares for his business and his customers. Will be back for sure!
Opted to go inside and order since the drive thru line was so long. Ordering was a breeze as I was the only one in line. I was missing my Ranch dressing so I stayed at the counter to ask for it and the lady who took my order had the nerve to look through my bag as if I was lying. The food was nothing to be desired. This is by far the most pitiful looking salad I've ever gotten from any Zaxby's. I had to take out most of the cucumbers and the bread looked and tasted like regular bread. It was actually nasty. The fries seemed hot and fresh for about 5 minutes. I actually expected better.
I live near several Zaxby's and this Fayetteville location is my favorite because of Theresa. She is GREAT! She is always attentive and does her best to ensure order accuracy. Today (7/7/2024), I ordered the 20 piece family meal and she did what she does to make sure I get exactly what I ordered.
On another occasion, I was in the store with my youngest child. I was having an issue with his temperament, and she shared with me how she has had similar issues with her child. Her simply comment made me feel a lot better.
This location is far different in a quality experience. We ordered a 5 finger meal along with other items to get home and only have 3 fingers. The coleslaw was not in a separate container ( who puts cold foods with hot) so mayo was all over the fries making the fries cold & soggy. I returned to have them remake. Also they didn't provide any eating untincles ????in neither order. It appears they were only concern about getting the takeout line down & not a quality fast food meal experience.
My family and I recently moved into the area. We’ve tried to come to this location 2 times previously but ended up leaving because the line was too long. This evening, I decided to go into the restaurant. There were already at least 4 people waiting in to go orders ahead of me but I still decided to order. I ordered 3 meals with no coleslaw (extra fries and toast instead). After waiting for 30 minutes, my name was called. I checked the boxes before leaving the restaurant. None of the meals had extra fries and one of the meals was missing the chicken. I went back to the counter and showed them the missing chicken. The workers challenged me on what was missing although I showed them the receipt. Finally, they gave me a separate box with the chicken in it. After waiting for so long, I decided to let them know that I didn’t get any extra fries or toast in place of the coleslaw). The manager said from the back “we only give 5 oz of fries). They eventually gave me the missing fries. I was in the store for 35 minutes while my 3 children under 4 sat in the car with my husband. The chicken was fresh, however, the fries were barely cooked. We couldn’t even eat most of them. It was horrible. I spent $36 and feel cheated. I then tried to complete the survey online and got a weird message indicating that the survey invitation had already been used even though I didn’t even put in the code. I also have never completed a Zaxby’s survey so that was weird. My family loves Zaxby’s, however, this experience has left me in a position to likely not return to this location. My first job as a teenager was in fast food. I know from experience that this location can do better. It starts with management.
