10/7/24 every single thing tasted off tonight. 2nd time at this location and it always sucks apparently. The strawberry lemonade had a strange plastic aftertaste, bad enough I didn’t finish it. The toast had black sludge on it, probably grill scrappings. The fries were the closest thing to “normal” and even the bigger fries were still undercooked inside somehow. The chicken tenders also tasted close to normal but I’m guessing the oil they’re frying with is old. I ordered 5 tenders and 3 were small, the 5th “tender” I pulled out actually made my GF and me laughout loud at how pitiful it was, a glorified nugget being called a tender. Definitely the last time I’ll go to the Kingston pike location.
Fingers missing their sauce on my Boneless Wings & Things but everything else was correct and tasted fine. But the new size of these boneless wings is ridiculous. These look like popcorn chicken. Will not be getting Zaxbys anymore. Absolutely ridiculous the company thinks this is okay.
I have eaten at this Zaxby’s for years as I have worked just a half mile away for the last 26 years. The last time I was in the restaurant it was dirty, drink station area was gross and the people behind the counter were fussing at each other. But today I thought I would try the drive through again for a grilled Cobb salad. Two times previously, it came out with fried chicken instead of grilled chicken and didn’t realize this till I got back to my office at the last couple of times I did get grilled chicken and the chicken is cut into such large pieces. There is no way a normal person could get it in their mouth. They only give you a fork no knife, so I’m not sure how they expect you to eat it. So today I’m making this review and I’m adding a photo as you can see the fork is beside a piece of chicken that is bigger than it is (cut the chicken into bite size!) along with the ends of a cucumber that should never be in a salad! In my opinion this is a management issue, train your people better and make corrections when needed. Quality control is everything in a restaurant! Truly I use to like Zaxby’s grilled chicken salad better than Chick-Fil-a but until this restaurant steps up their service I’ll be going elsewhere.
For a start it is 65° in the store that for me is ten degrees lower than comfortable.
I waited 5:22 to be acknowledged at the front counter, even with an employee walking back and forth ignoring me. Finally another woman from the back came up and took my order. I then waited 8:11 for my food to be called out (I was sitting in the closest seats to the counter) finally getting up to find my food unattended on the counter. My purchase was fried mushroom, cheese bites and a Cajun chicken sandwich. My fried mushroom where very good and the cheese bites also where good but the sandwich was cold and dry with a tiny bit of lettuce stale bacon one tomato on a cold bun. I spent 16.35 and was very disappointed
I had the best experience at this Zaxbys location! Jordan was especially helpful in my time of need! He brought me drinks when I couldn't leave the Zaxbys parking lot because of a situation with my car and was waiting on a tow truck to come get me. He was so nice and helpful! I wish more places had people like Jordan working for them!
My so and I went here for lunch we went through the drive thru and we came home they had given us the wrong food. The food they gave us was not even close to what we ordered. My son was really upset because he's a picky eater and was excited for his food and now can't eat it because it's wrong.
I went to Zaxby's and got a Grilled Chicken sandwich combo with only cheese and mayo and this what I got.... The worst Sandwich ever and to top it all off the black girl that took my order at the drive thru cut me of half ordering my sandwich and did not give me a receipt! I did not ask for mayo on the side and I didn't ask for shredded cheese. And the black girl never said a word about them being out of anything I asked for! This is sorry as hell. If could zero stars I would!
Ordered nibblers combo, chicken was good. Fries was cold and could have been a little crispier.
