The place was nice and cozy with nice staff. The chicken fingers were nice and juicy with a good dipping sauce. Was happy the chicken wasn't dry like other places. Also got the fried cheese and was actually surprised they were so good. I would recommend this Zaxby's restaurant.
I went in in there yesterday to get food and then poor kids were in there working in the freezing cold. It was so cold in there. I felt so sorry for them. Please get their heat fixed. They did an awesome job.
Trash cans inside are overflowing. Not one clean table. Drink machine sticky and out of most drinks. Condiment station looks like it hasn't been cleaned at least today, possibly in 2 days. Place is absolutely filthy.
I had a horrible experience here tonight. I went through the drive-thru tonight after not having been to a Zaxby’s since high school (8 years ago). I asked a question about the hot sauces and it appeared that I irritated the crew member or something by doing so because she seemed annoyed and when I got home with my Great 8 boneless chicken meal, there were only 5 pieces of chicken. This was very disappointing and I definitely didn’t get what I paid for. I feel like I was robbed. $9 for 5 chicken nuggets. Very disappointed with my return to Zaxby’s. I don’t see myself going back anytime soon.
Unless you speak Spanish don’t expect them to understand a word coming out of your mouth, took them 3 try’s to take my order and still didn’t end up getting it right, had to go back and try another 3 times to tell them if your not fully bilingual stay off the drive thru
Our family went to Zaxby's this past Saturday, 6/8/2024. I hadn't been to Zaxby's for a few years. The hot wings, fries, and buttered toast were very good. I was surprised. My kids made the choice to go to Zaxby's. A great place to take the entire family!.
When you talk about a great cooked Buffalo sandwich this location for some reason always does it right. It's the one place you go in Asheville where it's constantly made the right way.
However, the staff also typically are consistently on their phones, and blaring music and getting their attention is not as easy as the wind sauce that hits your tongue with this sandwich.
If the manger out more effort into hiring people who could constantly provide great service it would be a 4 star!
I love wings! I was so happy when we got a Zaxbys closer to home. I order frequently. The restaurant is clean, and has a fine staff. My reason for 4 stars is an issue with sauce. I got some seriously dry wings once so I finally said something. They were great and re made my order with lots of sauce. I ordered a few extra separately and they were relatively dry. If you ask for extra sauce, they give you little packets of a slightly different sauce. So, no bad vibes, just more sauce!!!
