I wouldn’t say I’m a big fan of Zaxby’s, but I do like their chicken finger tacos. I tried them on a whim, and you’d actually be surprised how good they are.
Other key takeaways: the staff is polite and the restaurant is clean; I know these things are to be expected, but you wouldn’t believe how often you run into folk who don’t care like they’re not at work, especially in fast food. Zaxby’s (or at least this location) is one of the better ones, for sure.
This particular restaurant is always clean and the parking lot is well maintained. It is awkward to get to or leave when driving north, but there are two separate traffic lights available nearby.
We order mostly thru their app and then pick up inside the restaurant (they do not do drive thru pickup). The workers here are always polite and helpful.
One of their best deals are their “Zalads.” Always very fresh with good produce and generous chicken. One salad is equivalent to a very large meal for one or a more appropriately, 2 very nice size lunches. They do have the best meal salads out of any fast food or traditional sit-down restaurant. Cannot beat the price.
Now, ordering through the app, you get coupons or deals not available in the store. For a while, they had a weekend-only Bogo-free wings deal in the app. We took advantage of that. The wings were very good and the price was awesome.
My husband has tried their “Chicken Philly” (he loved it) and I’ve tried their spicy chicken sandwich (good). Nothing beats their chicken tenders though. Some of the best around and I prefer them over the sandwiches.
Our special treat when we come here are the fried white cheddar bites. When they are hot, they are incredibly decadent. (Even good when cooled!)
I've never enjoyed the food here, not sure why it's so popular. But, if you're picking up to deliver food, DO NOT pick up from this location. You will be left standing for 15-20min. Even then nobody will help you. All 6 times I've been here, I had to raise my voice and reach my arm out so the kids working there would notice me. Yet everytime the persons order is sitting getting cold. The workers never put the delivery/pickup orders on the front rack. They leave it all in the back. From now on, I will reject orders from this place and hope you all do the same if you deliver food for $$$$. Hope this location receives a good manager soon, who has skills in leadership and knows how to guide the young kids. This place is an easy 0 out of 5 stars for service.
My wife and I ordered the following items to go: spicy sandwich meal, boneless wings and things, cheddar bites and toast. The cheddar bites were cooked way too long. They were hard and I couldn’t tell if anything was inside of them. The boneless wings were dry and a little burnt. The bread for the chicken sandwich was stale and tasted very old. It will be a while before I try this location again.
2nd time at this location same bad experience. Dining room is messy, fountain is a mess, no tea, trash in the he floor, & the staff talking, leaning on the counters, & slooowwwwww. Not worth $57 I will not be making this mistake again.
We love the “Kickin-Chicken”. It’s always the go to item on the menu for us. From their speedy drive through; to the quality in the food, they get 10 stars across the board.
Every time that we order food from this Zaxby’s, something goes wrong. I am normally not the type of person to complain, but today they had me stand and wait 10 minutes for my mobile order when I arrived to pick it up. I could see that my order was completed behind the counter and no one bothered to stop and greet me and ask me if I needed assistance. An employee in the kitchen finally realized that I was trying to get assistance from someone and someone eventually came up to the counter and handed me my cold food that had been ready for nearly 20 minutes! Worst customer service that I have received in a long time.
I have been to this particular zaxbys several times. Each time there has been an issue I’ve been given the wrong drink or had several items missing from our order. The food received has been good but it has always been the wrong food or wrong quantity at this location. The food that was received was good as zaxbys normally is. The drive thru here is also painfully slow.
