It's nothing like it used to be. Chicken wings are really dry. And everything tastes over salted. I used to love going there, but the last few times, I have been disappointed. I don't think I need to go again to find out if things have changed. It's too expensive for hit or miss days. And it is expensive for the type of food and quality. If someone cooking is big on salt, that's fine for them, but not everyone is. Don't cook to your liking cook and season, especially to a normal standard.
It was dirty. The dude in the back wasn’t wearing a hair net and was seen picking his hair. Floor was filthy and looks like they were scraping the bottom of the barrel of people working there. The cashier had a nose ring and bottom lip ring. He stared at his monitor and I couldn’t tell if he was hearing me or not thus making me repeat myself. And I ordered a salad and it was very small. I love me some Zaxby’s and always enjoyed good people and clean environment. But this one left a bad taste in my mouth.
Go through the drive thru to get my supper for work. Have to wait 2-3 min to order pull to the window and have to pull into a parking spot to wait on food. Absolutely ridiculous. Several other cars came through after me and were able to get there food immediately
Stopped in after work to get dinner for 5...$60.00! Not a problem every once in a while UNLESS THE SALADS ARE ROTTEN! $11.00 EACH!! For garbage. I'd like to see your own executives eat that trash. Bet they wouldn't. And the chicken on the cobb salad didn't wilt it either. The chicken was ice cold! Won't be back!
Seriously disappointed. We stopped here because we didn't have a lot of time to go to a normal "sit down" dinner and we thought it would be a better option over McDonald's or Burger King.
We were so wrong.
The person who took our order acted as if he didn't actually work there and was forced to speak to other humans.
We asked for water bottles, which apprently they only do fountain water (see the picture for that beautiful site of sticky syrupy madness).
Once our order came up, they gave us food that belonged to someone else. My husband, as crazy as this sounds, took the food back to the counter to get what he ordered. They literally took the food from him, handed him the proper order, and said NOTHING. Not a "sorry" or anything.
And then I made the mistake of using the ladie's room.
You would think with this much chaos they were so busy and just couldn't keep up. Nope. It seems like they just don't care or take any pride in their work.
If in Morganton contact the franchise owners.They dump salt on the chicken all the time unprovoked just pure evil and a reflection of their family seeing as how there are a lot of teens or maybe just slow minded. Food is a waste, refuse to give order specifications correctly: ketchup, strawberry lemonade, salad no bacon,.. explains your life right there. They are ruining Zaxby's reputation.
I stopped here on the way traveling. I was tired and hungry, hoping to enjoy a nice warm Zaxby's chicken and fries meal!
I was highly disappointed! The fries tasted like they just came from a microwave and they had absolutely NO seasoning on them. The whole thing was disgusting! This place is definitely not up the quality of any other Zaxby's! If I have to stop in Morganton again, I'll go to McDonald's!
I'm really disappointed in the traditional wings I bought today from Zaxbys. I spent $28 on 20 wings that were really bad. The wings were dry and burnt with hardly any meat on the bones. They were so tough to chew that you have to cover them in ranch to get them to go down. Morganton really needs a good place to purchase wings in this town because Zaxbys sure aint it!
