I wish I could give 0 stars...
Very poor and slow service.
I waited over 30 mins for my order just for the chicken to be uncooked, the fries weren't seasoned, got the wrong sauce and the toast wasn't even cut. After complaining I had to wait 1.5 hours for them to cook another batch of chicken. 2 hours total, so much for "fast food" and the staff wasn't in any rush to fix our order and just didn't seem to care.
I used to love eating here but things have really gone downhill. I'll highly recommend you go somewhere else to get your food.
At some point management should learn that there is something wrong with this store. Maybe the problem is the employee, maybe it’s local management but all of the negative reviews should be a clear indication that something needs to change.
Have eaten here twice now. Once on a trip to the beach a couple of years ago and today. On both occasions the wait was around 30 minutes after ordering food. Trashcans were overflowing. The bathroom floors were wet such that they were a safety hazard. Maybe when someone falls and files suit against the store something will change. This established should be an embarrassment to the Zaxby’s brand.
We stopped at 2 of them trying to eat. We used to love this place but restrooms were nasty. Coke machine ran out of pop no ice and the food was terrible..... gone way down hill
I usually love Zaxbys and have a great experience! I stopped by this one on my way home to Wilmington and it is just lacking in every area. I got the kickin chicken like I always do.
The bread -felt stale and hard
The chicken - not bad but not hot
The SAUCES- They barely put any ranch or tongue torcher sauce on it. Me being the good customer I am went and BOUGHT 2 sauce packets to make up for it.
The customer service is fine the people are very nice. They dont know how to cook though.

This was my first time going to a Zaxby's . I meant to go to one when I was in the Carolinas last time in 2019 , but I had so much good Country food and Carolina Bbq that I didn't go to one . This time just before I left to go back to Las Vegas , I went to this one October 11 , 2021. I have to say I was really disappointed . We have Raising Cane's in Las Vegas and I thought it would be on par with them , nope . Raising Cane's is soooo much better . The only thing I can say is that Zaxby's has a better selection of items to choose from . Raising Cane's is mostly Chicken Fingers , Texas Toast , Coleslaw , Sweet Tea , and one dipping sauce that is really good . They have a lot of locations and people love them .
I parked and went inside even though I was getting mine to go , so I could see how the inside looked . The drive thru lane was a little backed up anyway . After checking out the menu , I decided to get Chicken Fingers and Fries . I was going to try the Cajun Club Chicken Filet Sandwich and asked the cashier if she had tried it and she said no . I figured maybe I would try it next time . I got either the Zax Sauce or Spicy Zax Sauce , but it didn't taste any where as good as Raising Cane's . The floor by the soda machines was wet , I'm talking a puddle ! I got a soda at first , but it tasted like mostly carbonated water , so I poured it out and got sweet tea .
I sat for a while and I mean a while till I finally got my order . A couple people who came in after me got there food before me which was not nice . One guy came in from the drive thru while I was waiting and was complaining about something wrong with his order , like maybe they forgot something . He was not happy . I would like to try some of their different sandwiches and other items next time I come back to the Carolinas , but probably a different location like maybe Waynesville near where my sister lives .
Food was hot, fresh, and quick. Staff was fantastic! Made a huge difference, they asked us how everything was.
A little more paying attention would be great. Ordered 1 grilled Cobb zalad with no tomato, 1 grilled Cobb normal, 1 fried Cobb with no tomato. Well, someone took the easy way out and gave me 3 grilled Cobbs no tomatoes no cheese 1 long strip of bacon.
Everytime. Every single time. My order is missing items or completely wrong. Every time. I’m always on lunch break and don’t have time to return and get my correct items.
Every single time it’s messed up and missing items.
