I've been wanting to stop by and was presented with the opportunity to do so yesterday.
Plenty of parking spaces were available, and everything was handicap accessible. The restroom was exceptionally clean and well-maintained.
I had never been inside of a Zaxby's before, so my first impressions were positive.
I ordered a "new" spicy club sandwich combo and was asked for a name. Usually, it is a good sign that your order is being freshly prepared. Not so. I had barely filled up my beverage at the dispensary; which was a mess, when my name was called.
Even though I was specifically asked whether it was for dining in or to go, and mine was the former of the two. I was handed a "to go" bag, not really a big deal.
After sitting down at the table and opening the styrofoam box, I tried the crinkle cut fries first. They had a nice crispness to them and were mildly seasoned with seasoning salt, I believe.
The "new" club sandwich was less than satisfactory. The bun was greasy, and the chicken was dry. It's not a very good combination.
Overall experience, less than satisfactory.

I use the drive thru. I had only had Zaxbys once before and it was over 5 years ago. Was salty af then salty af now. Now I’m the one salty because the chicken is too nasty for bad service and high prices. I asked a price for the chicken tenders only for the drive thru girl to tell me that “it’s on the broad, but ok..” I pray that this Albermale Road location just folds so we can get something, anything better in that location… at this point I’ll take a food truck, a parking lot, a kids lemonade stand, a President Trump library! This place is a waste of good opportunity. Happen on 12/13/24 @ about 1130… please deal with this. Two dipping sauces for 18 pieced of chicken… 3 pieces per child.. 6 children … two sauces…. What are they suppose to do … double dip behind each other??? Come on man! I want my money back. I want everyone’s money back from that day. Please be embarrassed and ashamed!
Zaxby's food always tastes freshly made. On this trip we opted for salads which were crisp, fresh, and tasty. I had the house salad and my kid's mom had the southwest salad. The salads were huge so my only complaint would be they don't give you enough dressing for salads so bountiful. Also ordered a funnel cake. It was a little hard from being overcooked I guess but was still okay.
We ordered two family combos which is a really good deal especially when you need to feed a large family. We ordered and it was ready for pickup within 10 minutes of placing the order on the app and I also appreciate the rewards program through the app
Pulled up to drive thru window and was met by a rude cashier that almost slung my food at me. When I tried to put the bags in my passenger seat it all fell on the floor, why they pile all your food to the top of the bag, to full to handle. While I was picking up my food off my floor of my car, another rude lady stuck her head out the window and said " pull up your car, we are on a timer". I told her about my food and asked if they were short on bags, she said move your car up. No I'm sorry, let me help, nothing. Got home, called restaurant back and was hung up on repeatedly. I will NEVER go back here, they should be closed down. Worst customer service and their food was cold and nasty and I live 5 minutes from them. Beware of this place! Owner should have his franchise pulled! Oh and I wrote to their corporate office and never heard back from them.
First time to this location, clean inside and outside, and the parking lot iswell lighted. The customer service I received tonight was good. The young lady had a smile on her face.. The food was hot and good. As you can see..
This is the only zaxbys that I have been to twice in a 3 year span.
Both times barely any customers there and I understand why.
The employees are all texting on cell phones and the restaurant is dirty needing cleaning.
I would still dine there if there wasn't an up-charge for having your tenders dipped in sauce.
I promptly walked out and don’t recommend doing business here and why is this the only zaxbys that up-charges for dipping the tenders in hot sauce?
Ordered the kickin chicken meal and upgraded the fries and drink...I got like 8 fries! Is that what you get for upgrading?? When I asked for more fries the lady at the window caught and attitude and told me they were out! Really!?!? why didnt you say that before i asked to upgrade? My bread was soaked all the way through and chewy like it had been sitting under the lamp all day. The attitudes are horrible at this location. Smh
