Absolutely terrible. The fries were all dried out & cold. My chicken was barely tossed in sauce & there was a hair in my drink! It was terrible all the way around.
Just left from to go to work, and get to my designation. To see that I paid almost $4 for 2 egg rolls!!! Are freaking kidding me!! Now on the wings!!! You gave me all legs. They were over cooked. SMH!!! To far down the highway to turn around.
We have traveled a long way bringing hurricane supplies out this way. We love Zaxbys so this was our lunch stop. Probably the only hot food we will have for a while when we get to our mountain destination. Food is good. But Customer service is awful. Girl bagging the orders is extremely rude. Sucks when you’ve been riding for hours on very little sleep to run into crap customer service
The atmosphere is a bit better than most places, and the food is definitely great. I will say that one time they left out the Feastable from my Mr.Beast box, but aside from that I've had no negative experiences with these guys. Food has always been hot (scorching even), staff has always been super polite, and I have found that this place is great if you just want to hang out with friends or family. Overall, pretty good food and a pretty chill environment.

I usually don’t leave a review, but this one is worth posting. I purchased a nibberlz meal and some fried pickles. Pickles were fried to hard, so I couldn’t eat them. Nibberlz bread was hard, I called and expressed my concern. In speaking with the manager, she told me the kind of breading they cook the pickles in, that’s expected. Which floored me, because how is it that you continue to serve them, knowing they are not fit to eat. Furthermore, when I told her the bread was hard, she said in order to replace them, I had to bring the food back. I didn’t have a problem bringing the food back. I didn’t feel like driving back, food should have been correct the first time. So I cut my lost and decided to leave a review, so people please make sure your food is right before leaving. The Zaxby’s in Shelby are really slack and the food is a hit and miss…absolutely horrible!!
I took a group here and spent over $150 dollars for wings.
The service here is not up to par with other zaxbys. They shorted me 3 wings on one of my orders and then proceeded to give me the smallest wings they could find to replace them. The wings had no meat on them. They said they would replace the small wings with tenders. About 10 minutes later, I went up to check, and the tenders had been done for a while and sitting on the counter. They were not hot and the manager wasn't very nice.
We had to reorder twice because apparently "two zensation zalads and 2 orders of fries" was too complicated. Then this is what we get. A pile of wilted lettuce, 3 strips of carrot, 4 tiny bites of chicken, maybe 5 strips of red cabbage, burnt wantons, and to top it off a burned soggy spring roll. Zaxby's used to be decent, but now I'd rather eat belly-button lint...at least that would have flavor.
