This Zaxby’s location has been consistently making delicious, hot and fresh food. My fiancé and I love coming here to get a quick bite for lunch or dinner!
The service here is prompt, efficient and friendly. The staff are all kind and have always gotten our orders correct.
I usually get their 8-piece boneless chicken in their Wimpy sauce with Ranch to dip, toast and fries. The chicken is always fresh, flavourful and tender, and the ranch is a perfect pairing. My fiancé likes his spice, and usually gets their boneless chicken in their Tongue-Torched sauce also with Ranch dip, toast and fries. His dish has been also consistently excellent!
I definitely recommend this Zaxby’s location for some delicious, budget-friendly food. It always arrives hot, has fresh ingredients, and the staff are lovely.
Asking for seasoning on fries should NOT be a requirement. Asking for EXTRA seasoning should not be so dramatic! Zaxbys was known for the seasoned fries. At some point, the seasoning has all but disappeared, so I always ask for extra. Drive-thru kid wanted me to be that HE PERSONALLY put extra seasoning on my fries....I know better, and upon inspection, there was barely any on them. Asking for more, yielded barely enough to cover the bottom of the container. The container costs more!¡!!
The food is pretty good for fast food, but they need to work on accuracy and food handling. If you order anything with coleslaw be aware that they do not put it in any type of container, it just gets put in the food box compartment. So tipping it at all causes a mess all over the rest of your food. I've actually had to have them remake my food several times because they handed me my food and the slaw was in the fries and on my chicken (yes, I check it every time now before leaving). Seems it would be more cost effective to buy containers for the slaw rather than remake the food.
Maybe a bad day for the cook but the signature sandwiches we got from Zaxby's were ok at best. I'd recommend staying with their club sandwich or nibblers which are usually great when they put enough mayo or sauce.
I didn't complain the first time, when we made it home and my wife had to throw her salad away it was wilted so bad. I thought we would try our luck again, this is what I received for around 8 dollars. The chicken in the middle had been broke in half, not sure who ate the other half. My wife ordered a salad, to discover there was any utensils to cut it with. I ask for a couple salt packages, they were out. Canes is right up the street not even a mile. Save yourself a headache, I was bringing my wife home from eye surgery, she hadn't ate since midnight. I definitely let her down, stopped and picked up a pizza. I know the owner Great woman, my wife cousins. Hopefully someday she will understand her franchise isn't being cared for as it once was. We were the only car there, Cane was wrapped and lot was full. Maybe someday these stories will stop, I posted the pic on Facebook and talked about it. Then several comments about the same or similar happenings to them. Sorry
Food is always cooked fresh and is always good. The employees have been helpful as well as very pleasant to deal with. It fakes a bit longer to get the food than the other chicken finger spot in town, but it is worth it!! They also give a military discount which is a nice bonus.
This restaurant is very clean & the staff was very polite and professional. I loved seeing the murals on the windows. Would gladly dine back at this great restaurant.
My wife and I eat here multiple times a week. We always use the app. Recently they changed the policy so that app users cannot use the drive thru. There was no one in the drive thru and they told her at the speaker she had to come inside. So, because she was alone, my 8 month pregnant wife had to get out of her car in 100 degree summer heat to go inside and fill her own drinks and pickup the food instead of being handed it through the drive thru.
An INSANE choice when places like Chic Fil A make it as easy and quick as possible to use the app, Zaxby's is going backwards?
Also the price has jumped lately. Attaching a picture of my 4 piece Chicken Finger Plate, asked for Large which includes extra fries for .80, and asked for no cole slaw with extra fries and I was given almost no fries. I _used_ to eat here multiple times a week and this is maybe half the fries i would usually get, and no toast. If this looks like $12 of food to you, then Zaxby's is the place for you. If not, go anywhere else.
