Called employee told me their was nothing they could do after asking to speak to a manager 3 times. Finally got the manager who stated they make these salads daily fresh. I felt she didn't believe me so I suggested I'd send her pictures. So she gave me her number, I sent the pictures and never got a response back or an apology. But did state "SOMEBODY IS ABOUT TO GET CUSSED OUT " before I sent the pictures I told her I wouldn't feed this to a dog. No more salads for me from there ever again ???? ????
I'm writing this review because I'm frustrated with consistently poor customer service at local restaurants. I often visit the Zaxby's on Oyster Point, but my experience this past weekend was particularly disappointing. I received chicken fingers that looked strange and fries that tasted like they were from the night before (as you can see in the picture). When I returned to get my order corrected, the cook had a bad attitude and tossed my food on the counter. From now on, I'll be driving past this Zaxby's and heading to the one further up the road. It's a shame that good customer service seems rare these days, with Chick-fil-A being the notable exception.
Inaccurate prices inside and in menu. There's flyers inside with 99cent nibblers on Tuesdays. When you ask about it, the cashier acts like they don't know what you're talking about. I asked why are there flyers around if that price isn't accurate.
The chicken is always delicious.fried Pickles need improvement. I asked for some fresh ones and they just dropped old ones in the fryer. The didn't even bother to strain the grease on the recorded picked. I opened the container and poured hot great all over my hands. That was disappointing.
I'm always going to Zaxby's on Oyster Point Road in Newport News to get a salad. Their salads are usually fresh which is why I go. This time, it was not. I picked through my entire salad because the lettuce was turning brown and the remaining lettuce that wasn't brown was wilted and mushy. The cucumber and tomatoes weren't fresh, and the bread was soggy. Not happy and will not be returning to this location.
The only redeeming quality was the young lady cleaning. I wouldn't stop here again. The service was terrible, the food was soggy, and the staff does nothing about it. We ordered and the drink machine was out of everything. I asked if they had soda in the drive thru dispenser. The girl who took my order asked what we wanted and took the cups. She never returned. Another girl from the back came out about 5min later and asked if she could help me and I told her what had happened. She went back and told the girl to fix it and then I think she made the drinks herself. It took forever to get out food while they were constantly setting out food for grubhub and ubereats. The young lady who was doing this didn't speak to me just would smile and giggle occasionally. When we got our food I ate the chicken only because the fries and cheese bites were soggy. That night I was violently sick and refuse to go here again! Don't trust it.
This location is ghetto and I’m over it. I’ve never been to zaxby’s ever and I’m hearing their food is good and they have these cheesecake bites. So I go to this location first time around 940 pm and place my order spend $32.00. I drive off and something tells me to check my bag… no cheesecake bites so I turn around go back and I say I didn’t get the bites. The girl comes back and says we threw it away so I’m like ok well I paid for it then she walks away then the guy comes back and said we don’t have any more???? really? SMH they refund me and I’m like let me try this location a couple days later order fries with the bites. I check the bag no ketchup and this time no sauce for the cheese cake bites like how lazy are yall? It’s not hard to throw the condiments in the bag that it comes with. Unbelievable
Got the chicken pico tacos and the Mr Beast box, both was so delicious. The tacos was superior. Best food from a fast food restaurant I've ever had in my life.
