I am deeply saddened to see so many bad reviews, thank goodness that my experience was good. The restaurant was very clean, my order came quickly, food for hot/fresh/delicious, and the sweet tea was amazing. I loved the zax sauce as well. I got the number 3 and was able to eat off it for two meals. I will be going back in the near future and definitely recommend trying them out for yourself. The drive-thru line was very long, so they must be doing something right!!!
I used to frequently eat here at this location years ago. Back when Zaxbys still offered the delicious Macadamia Nut Cookie on their menu. I recently moved back to Mansfield and have been here twice in the last week hoping to relive that juicy chicken experience. But both times now the chicken has been dry, overcooked and bland. And each time I've ordered extra seasoning on my fries yet they still give me barely any at all. Disappointing. Not sure if it's an issue with this location or Zaxbys has just gone downhill over the years, either way I won't be returning.
This Zaxby’s used to be so good. Idk what happened , long waits small tenders cold fries not fresh … and yes those are pics of tenders for a $15 meal
Didn’t toss my fingers in nuclear like I asked and paid for nor provide the ranch dipping sauce. Only one side of the toast was toasted and everything was cold and my coleslaw wasn’t even in a cup. It was just thrown into my box. And I guess I’m suppose to eat coleslaw with my hands ? Because there was no utensils . Wasted my time and money. The coleslaw makes me feel like y’all don’t even store your food correctly honestly . It’s disgusting . Ruined my entire appetite for Zaxby’s and this one is the closest to me . Min 30 min .
On Thursday, our lovely daughter treated me to a Grill chicken salad, vegetable egg rolls and a peach sweet tea from Zaxby’s on Matlock in Mansfield, TX. I enjoyed the selection she surprised me with, so today my mom gave me money to get our 4 year old grandson (Our daughter’s oldest child) some lunch to take home on the way back after being gone most of the day.
So, we were near Zaxby’s and I decided to get him a chicken kids meal, which included fries, a drink and graham cracker snack. I decided to also get two egg rolls, an order of crinkle fries and a few of the lil sliders.
Well, the app stated regular fries and seasoned fries, I said regular fries, they gave seasoned fries and the egg rolls were burnt.
I called back, thinking the guy would say bring them back and I will replace them and redo the egg rolls, to.
But no, he told me it was my fault for not stating I did not want season fries. I told him that was my first time ordering and I saw both on the app, so if I didn’t state season fries, I would get regular fries. He then said, those are tasteless fries, who wants that. -I went on to tell him I am allergic to that seasoning, it sends me to the ER, been there, did that more than once, not trying to do it again.
He said, that’s the only way they sell them and everyone knows that. I told him, not everyone, that was my first time ordering there.
So, he tells me, he will give back my money for the egg rolls if I bring them back, although he doesn’t believe half black and extra crunchy egg rolls are not over cooked and burnt. Which on Thursday, they were normal, his response was that was probably new cooking oil and they have four fryers and all of them looked dark today.
I asked if he was going to replace the fries and he told me, it was my fault for not asking for non-seasoned fries, they can’t be expected to ask 2,000 plus people a day if they want seasoned fries or not, I should have asked since I know I can’t have seasoned fries.
So, in other words you doesn’t want my business, he said it was my choice to come back or not and then he said, yes I am telling you I don’t want your business.
So, there we have it, I will not be going to another Zaxby’s, no matter who’s credit card or money in hand. That’s my first and last time going to any of their locations.
I believe in getting what I expected I am paying for.
Kick'n chicken sandwich is the best thing you can order at a fast food chicken restaurant but I will only order it if I'm at the restaurant and plan on eating there. The sauce and bread do not travel well together and you'll end up a big soggy mess.
DO NOT go to this location! The chicken was salty and hard. I ordered a 20 piece family meal and was only given 4 sauces, after specifically asking for more. They threw a spoonful of coleslaw into a box with holes in it, so I had slaw leaking all over the inside of the bag and on all the boxes. The slaw was also not fresh and tasted terrible. They didn’t say hi or thank you either! TERRIBLE service! My husband used to be a GM of a Zaxby’s, so I KNOW this doesn’t meet standard. NEVER AGAIN! ????
This Zaxby’s used to be so good. Now it’s under new management and family/privately owned. After being told to pull forward to wait on food the food was still horrible. I received cold unseasoned fries and undercooked chicken. I was told the chicken was juicy bc it was so moist inside. Part of the chicken sandwich was cooked and the part I bit into wasn’t. I opted for tenders instead of another sandwich and they were still undercooked. Glistening inside and half cooked. I’m home and feeling sick from the chicken I ate. Every time I burp there’s a weird after taste from the chicken. Never again will I eat at this location. Not to mention my kids ate this food as well. Smh
