I don't like to complain at any place, but after my last few visits here where things were wrong I need to. The food tastes great, the staff seem nice. The problem is that the small details are wrong. No silverware sometimes, no sauces another time, outright wrong item on others. For two straight visits, I ordered a great 8 meal. I got a boneless wings meal. Paid for 8 wings, only got 5. No sauce on top of that. Lately it's been this way. If you choose to go here, DO NOT LEAVE UNTIL YOU'VE CHECKED YOUR BAG.
9/29/2024 UPDATE: Used the app to place a pickup order. Went through the drive-thru to get it and the girl at the window could not find the food only the drink. She checked the system and it showed as being made, checked with the manager and apparently someone snagged my food bags from the pickup counter inside. They verified my online receipt and proceeded to remake my food. Manager was very apologetic about the whole thing and they remade my food very quickly. And everything was exactly as I had requested in the app.
1/2/2023 Update: 1 yr after last review: Still not impressed. Fried pickles were burnt through and inedible, boneless wings were dried out and also drenched in a pool of sauce that ended up all over the bag and the grated cheese on the salad was actually presliced American Cheese that had been hacked to pieces. Service was mediocre at best. The guy at the window didn't say a single word to me just thrust the bag and drink at me and walked away. The girl at the order booth was pleasant enough, she at least greeted me and repeated my order. The young lady that came out while the other was taking more order was much friendlier and was actually engaging with me. At one time this was a great place to get food. Little by little it's as if no one cares any more here. And with all the new shops and house developments coming to the area one would think they would try so they don't lose the potential business from newcomers when they ask locals for recommendations on places to go.
Previous review: Usually I don't have much in the way of problems at this location. Tonight I ordered a Fried House Zalad with extra cheese and fried onions. When I got home and opened my bag, the salads had little to no cheese or fried onions and only 3 very tiny pieces of chicken. Usually they are very accurate at this one. It's not like y'all were swamped, the line was empty when I came through. A little more accuracy, so we get what were paying for would be nice.
We don't eat at Zaxby's a lot. But the last few times we've been to this location the food is cold and undercooked. The service is always great though. The young people that work there are unlike most others that work in customer service. They're very sweet and respectful! I can totally appreciate that! I wish the employees in the back could get the food right though. Last time we ate there, my husband and I both felt nauseated all day. ???? Please get it together. The fries were the worst. It's like they were just poured into the fry basket and left to sit and defrost. It costs too much to eat there for that quality of food. Sorry guys.
Hey, I go to Zaxby's a lot, at least a few times a week. The food is always great, but the employees there never have a smile on their faces and are rude. From personal experience working at Zaxby's and my current fast food job, I have always gotten compliments about how I always have a smile on my face and how it’s hard to get that these days. So, I'm writing this review hoping that this issue would change because no one wants to order from someone that’s just in a bad mood, not even wanting to smile to serve their customers. Most of the time, they have attitudes.
I got home to see that my order was a complete mess. I hate to complain ever but I decided to return to the store and see what my options were. I didn't get the managers name but she was so kind! She remade all of my food without hesitation. KEEP HER!!! And give her a raise. ❤️ excellent customer service and that's so hard to find these days.
The workers and the cleanliness of the restaurant was up to par to me while the quality of the chicken was not. I know that we may never get the same quality in fast food restaurants that we had before the pandemic while the chicken tenders are getting closer and closer to the size of chicken nuggets! I remember when I could not finish the six tender meal and now it does not fill me up due to how much smaller the tenders are. Which is a win for the restaurant because now I am ordering either an appetizer or dessert with my order now to leave satisfied.
Used the drive-thru, had to order before I got to see the menu. Employee taking my order did not seem to know the menu, so ordering was difficult. Ordered a Wings and Things, the wings were almost dry. Not a great experience. Two stars because food was edible and the employees were nice.
Ordered on the app. Food was good and service was fast how you want fast food places to be. Wish all places had kind employees and fast service like this.
