The drive thru was long but orders were placed fast, and the food was hot! The lady at the window was super sweet, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed, quickly and in order with everything accurate!!! Hope she has a wonderful day & holiday weekend!! ✅????
My husband and I stopped here on the way to Florida. We were greeted by two employees when we walked through the door. They were so kind and inviting. We ordered our food and it was taking a few minutes because they were cooking it fresh, and the young lady that took our order updated us since it was taking so long. The restaurant and the bathrooms were so clean. We pinned this place on our trip because we will be back. Thank you for taking such great care of your customers.
This place has really gone down hill the last couple months. Overcooked or under seasoned fries, overcooked boneless wings, wings with little to NO sauce. This has been the experiences we've had the last few visits. Zaxby’s is not a cheap fast food option so the low quality food just doesn’t sit right with me. Not to mention the drive thru is SLOW. I’m telling you a 20+ minute wait for some chicken and fries! It’s just disappointing because Adel is already limited with the food options… if we got a Chick-fil-A this place would go out of business! Take a look at the attached photos… I’m convinced they microwaved some old wings because they had a *touch* of sauce but were so dry! I wish I had a picture of the last time I got boneless wings… they looked shriveled up and were so over cooked I felt like I was chewing on rubber.
The one positive thing I can say is the employees are usually well mannered, from my experiences.
Had to wait over 15 minutes for my order (supposedly fries),they were the only thing hot. Employees were standing around talking. Had to ask someone to wipe off a table because they were all dirty. Check out the employee cooking while using his cellphone!!! No gloves----

The drink machine was out of most of the more popular (coke, sprite, lemonade,etc.) options. The bathroom was a mess. They called us for our dine in order, but still packed it to go.
I ordered online. Didnt get any sauces no dressing no forks no napkins. Didnt get the extra I paid for on my sandwiches. I was asked to come back so they could make my order good. Not to mention look at how off all the colors look on the burnt or barely toasted bread. Guess we don't know the meaning of consistency or pride in a job well done.And thats the un sweet sweet tea I have ever had. Guess this is another place we can no longer eat because service is so bad. My delivery driver was super nice.
This place was great before, but the last few months have been very questionable. Please get a leadership team to guide the employees to be what we know they can be. The food is just too expensive to almost always be wrong and/or missing items. It's a big problem there, along with cleanliness, the atmosphere, and interactions with employees. Not everyone is bad, but overall, you need to do something. I know that I'm not the only one that has or is about to eliminate Zaxby's in Adel as a choice. You win when your customers are happy, and right now, they are not.
The fries and chicken were refried so they would be served hot. The fries were fried and salted twice. Both were so greasy that we were not able to eat but few bites and had to throw it away. It was a waste of 20 dollars, except for the tea!
