We had the fried shrimp and it was okay. Young lady behind the counter recommended the wings and tenderloins. I really liked the tenderloin, crispy on outside and tender on the inside. Wings were alright. Fries were hot and crispy, and my toast was buttery and toasted. They even checked on us. I didn't care for the funnel cake. It was a but hard. Restaurant was clean and the girls were sweet and polite with us.
Got my dinner from there today and the chicken was not good at all. Very disappointed!!! Everything else was good but the chicken was tough,chewy and a little bit slimy. It was really disgusting and had to pay right at $15 for the meal. Zaxby's please do better than this. Won't be eating there again though.
Monday July 3rd 5:30. Got into inside lane at the drive thru. They had 1 order taker doing the outside lane only. Took 35 minutes to order, and we were 3rd in line. 10 cars went around the outside. When we got to order she couldn't hear me and i couldn't hear her. I asked if she could turn the speaker up? Ro response. Finally got our orders in. Then, I had to struggle getting into line to pick up the food. There is doctor pepper on the order board but she said they don't carry dp. So I ordered a coke. Didn't have that either. We wanted sauce put on our tenders that blew her mind! She didnt put it on our order. It took an hour to get in line order and pick up the food. That is the worst designed drive thru I have ever been through. Keep this up, and you will be like Krystal!
I don't know what it is about this place and their sauce. So many times I've come through, asked for extra sauce, double checked at the window and payed for the extra sauce, only to pull away, open the box and see not a single one. The food is not good, especially with nothing to dip it in. The fries are soggy and never seasoned, the meat is chewy and bland. I know they can do better overall because plenty of other Zaxbys are so much better. But this one has been a disappointment since the moment it opened...
Was completely ignored last night while trying to pick up an UberEats delivery order. Door locked and no answer at speaker. Employee had a friend pulled up to the window that they were chatting with. ( I don’t think they were waiting on an order..) Gave no notice to me waiting behind the car.
THE INSIDE IS OPEN!! Ask for fired hard or crispy because if you don't your chicken will be gummy. Gross. I've eaten at Zaxbys for 15 plus years and this is the first time I was disappointed. The fact I've been telling ppl about Zaxbys since moving here in 2020 that this company has GREAT SERVICE &FOOD. The meridian location is a disappointment but if you never had Zaxbys you wouldn't know. The food might get better. But for me it's a no just a big fat nope. I'll just wait til I go back home to Tennessee or West point or even Hattiesburg.
I ordered with my coworkers to have our order delivered. I ordered the southwest zalad. When we received our order our zalad didn’t have any chicken. So w we called the store got into contact with Dotdash they replaced it with another salad. So now we have 2 salads with NO. chicken. Really???
In my experience at said establishment i experienced a 10 minute wait to even place the order. They initially came out to take orders in person but I was left waiting even though i was first. Then when the cashier for drive thru came to the speaker they had a nasty attitude and basically rushed my order. so if your reading this i hope you have a terrible week bc all i wanted was chicken????
