I was part of a family - wedding rehearsal dinner. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. My family was able to decorate the banquet room (so cute). The food was delicious and we were able to find something for everyone. Highly recommend for celebration.
Zarda BBQ is still awesome. Variety plate is just right for two people. Prices under $30 is a heck of a deal.

We reserved the banquet room for a group of 20 family members. It was so easy to set up and the banquet menu options made for quick selection to get a nice variety of meats and sides. Everything was set up perfectly when we arrived. The staff was so friendly and helpful. And of course, the food tasted great!

customers order directly from the kitchen and receive their food when it's ready.
As a result, it's managed without helping from staff,
I enjoyed the more relaxed dining experience.

The prices is crazy for what I got. Slaps tastes better, and is cheaper. With that said I would still come here over Q39. The fries are very good. The sauces are missing flavor. Pull pork was a little salty. The soda was huge, and tasted better than most fountain drinks. The people were very friendly, and they had comfortable seating. It's a good BBQ place next to the college if you're looking for a bite to eat if you have some time between classes. The food was hot, and came quickly.
Let me start with "I am a BBQ snob". This was my first time in Zarda's and I have been curious about it for a while. I had the beef sandwich. The meet had a good texture and taste, but if you're into smoke flavor, that was minimal. I'd say it was a pretty good sandwich so that's how I'm evaluating it. Back in Texas, we'd call it roast beef. But I give it a B+ as a beef sandwich.
The potato salad was good...more of a mayo base than mustard and pickle that I grew up with in the south, but it was good. They had me in and out quickly and the lunch special was a good deal. I think I'll go again and try the burnt ends at some point.
We ordered Zarda tonight and were surprised at just how awful it was. Meat was dry and tasteless, they provide literally store bought bread, sides were small and flavorless, fries were soggy, just all and all terrible and we wouldn’t recommend.
I was born and raised in Kansas City and I love Zarda BBQ! It is delicious. Tonight, I got the burnt end beans. I love that none of their sauces have gluten and they are always so helpful when choosing dishes.
The service is always impecable. We love the fries and burnt ends!
