I always get the spaghetti from there, it's the best. There's enough of it that I usually eat 3 times from it. Granddaughter got the taco pizza and they let her pick what she wanted on it. Only place to go for the best Spaghetti in town.

I recently visited Zappitelli’s ???????? in Mentor, Ohio and completely fell in love! This is a quaint and cozy Italian restaurant that has amazing food and staff. My server Kendall was friendly, fast and personable, and made me feel like family. Do I dare say their red sauce is better than mine? Yes, yes it is and their shaker cheese is bomb!
This is a family style dining experience and could not be more impressed with the taste. Everything is made to order and tastes home made by a nò•na! Oh, and don’t sleep on their wine selection! Delicious ????
I will be visiting Zappitelli’s every time I’m in Ohio and cannot wait for my next cannoli (the best I’ve ever had!) If you ever have the craving for authentic Italian cuisine go visit Kendall and get the veal marsala, chicken piccata and definitely a cannoli or two! You won’t be disappointed! ????????
We've ordered from Zappitelli's for years and our lunch this past week was above and beyond. The rolls were so fresh and everyone raved about their lasagna. My chicken marsala (my go-to order) was the best I've ever had. The portions are generous and prepared to perfection. Do not hesitate to eat there!
The food is amazing and the portions are huge!! Everything was fresh and very tasty. The staff is very friendly. I had the lunch special of sausage and peppers. It came with a wonderful crisp cold side salad and rolls plus a huge helping of spaghetti. Enough for at least 2 meals!
This is a great place to come with an appetite, the portions are large and the food is very tasty. The atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. It's probably not a great place for a date, perhaps more of a family comfort atmosphere.
People are friendly and the food is great however!
I ordered the Mexican pizza and there was very little meat on it. It was a salad pizza. Took the lettuce off the one side of the pizza so you could see.
Do NOT believe them if they say you can call ahead for a table. I called at 10:45am for a group of 10 to come on a Saturday night. They said they are typically crowded and cannot take reservations, but to call 30 minutes ahead and they would accommodate us. I expressed that I was coming from 30+ minutes away with a child with special needs who would not do well waiting and was told that if I called ahead they would have a table ready.
We called ahead, when we showed up 30 minutes later we were just added to the waitlist as if we didn't call. I asked to speak with with a manager who did not even try to help. In fact, they sat a party of two at the only table large enough for our party of 10- while we were standing there discussing this issue.
It is completely discouraging as a parent of a kid with special needs to experience such horrible customer service. We go the extra mile to make family get togethers manageable for everyone, and they ruined this experience for us.
Damn do you get a TON of food. Every pasta plate was huge. The meatballs were huge and tasty. The sauce was good but a tad overly salty. Gnocchi was perfect consistency but I decided I don't really like the doughyness of it (nothing against the restaurant). Cavatelli was good. Chicken parm w side of spag..massive. All in all it was great except the beginning. The greeting was sadly lacking. Our server was phenomenal though.
