I arrived for my reservation at 7:30pm on a Saturday. There was no wait, even though the restaurant seemed pretty crowded. We were instantly given chips and salsa and a free quesadilla. Throughout the night the wait staff was incredibly attentive and kind.
However the food and drinks were lacking a bit. I ordered a Cadillac margarita (which is generally higher quality) but it was absolutely horrible. It tasted unauthentic and a little freezer burnt somehow? I’m not sure.
The food also came out about 5 mins after ordering. I ordered guacamole and chicken fajitas. Clearly everything is already made in the back which was a little bit disappointing.
The whole experience lasted a half hour.
Food tasted okay, but I probably won’t be coming back.
My husband and I went to Zapata's today for lunch/ dinner. Everything was delicious. I had a classic margarita so good and he had white sangria. Followed by the ceviche Zapata and for the main course lobster tail with fish fillet. For dessert we had tres leches cake and ice cream with cinnamon tortilla chips.
Everything was outstanding from the food to the waiters to the staff. We even got complimentary cheese quesadillas while waiting for our main course. The atmosphere is so nice it reminds me of Mexico at Epcot.
We definitely will be going.back. I can highly recommend this to anyone who loves Mexican food.
We are frequent flyers in this place, it’s the most authentic Mexican food we have tried so far. It’s delicious, flavorful, and totally worth it. Stop by and you will not regret it!
I've visited this restaurant many times, and it's hands down the best place for Mexican dishes—better than even some resorts in Mexico! The drinks are not only generous with alcohol but also bursting with flavor. And the staff? They are incredibly welcoming, friendly, and professional! I highly recommend this spot for any occasion, from girls' nights out to family dinners. You won’t be disappointed!
I've been going to them for 10 years and the food is good. 2 weeks ago they forgot forgot to give me the chips and salsa so I asked if they had anything they could give me for service for their miss and they said no and that "nothing is free my friend". He then switches over to the manager and she start yelling something in Spanish and switches back. Zero customer service.
Great place for quality Mexican food. The atmosphere is interesting with custom pieces everywhere that distinguishes is from a typical Mexican themed restaurant. The combination platters are very good and the portions are decent. I decided to try the desert one day and I was not disappointed and the portion was better than the actual meal. Would recommend if your looking for Mexican an in the area.
This honestly used to be one of my favorite restaurants but unfortunately could not ignore the rude and racist behavior of the owner every time we visited. There are plenty of other restaurants around with equally good food and great service.
Very cute local mexican spot. They make a big effort to keep it local. I would definitely go back for tacos, burritos, enchiladas
Food: Ceviche was bad stay away. Tacos and taquitos were amazing. We got a form of steak that had little to no flavor but the sides and sauces made it good. Chips and guac are amazing.
Service: attentive and good
Atmosphere: you can tell it is a family restaurant, clean and well maintained. Outside seating can be very nice on good weather days
