Here I am again. Writing yet another 5 star review. You know I'm extremely particular with when and for whom I write them so this one means a lot. I want to thank Agatha and her staff for always welcoming my family and I to this location. As you know I only write 5 star reviews and believe companies and organizations should be recognized and commended for their great service to society and neighborhood. Working hard is a choice, being a great manager is a choice. Agatha makes my experience incredibly memorable and personable each time I dine there. I refuse to go to any other location, this is a fact. No one tops their kindness, quickness and quality. I wish they had heat lamps outside because they are cozy and truthfully, the patio is the only place I dine because of the privacy. If you want a fantastic, fresh and cool Mediterranean lunch or dinner, dine in or take out. This is the place to go. Thank you for always taking care of us, but mostly for always being so nice.
I love zankou chicken but when we came to this location I was somewhat disappointed with the wait time and the quality of food was below average unfortunately.
Just wanted to leave a special note and say thank you so much for another amazing meal! Each time I visit you guys, I always have an amazing experience there on top of the food being so delicious! I really want to give a special shout out to the whole team working and especially to Aggie, Angelo, and Moca. you guys always go above and beyond so I really appreciate the customer service you all provide during each of my visits!!!
First I want to start off by saying the food is amazing but the service is very bad and slow mind you we ordered 30 minutes before we got there because we where travelling me and my family and I told them I want the food ready when I get, I got there and I had to wait for about 20 min and when they gave me the food I had to wait for the drinks another 10 min and I only ordered coke for the drinks, the tables are dirty I had to switch my seat twice because it had things spilt over them on the seats and it was jus very nasty and to the restaurant owner the cashier lady is very rude and I was there around 9 o’clock pm.
Everything here is as close to perfection as it can get. Firs of all, Julio and Joe are amazing! Whatever they’re getting paid; it isn’t enough. The food… my goodness…. We had the combo kabab plate with chicken and steak. PERFECTLY cooked! The chicken was so moist and tender too ???????????????? and the rice…. PERFECTION. Had falafels for the first time too and my goodness I can’t wait to have more. If you try this place you NEED to try their red hot sauce. So full of flavor and spicy ???? can not wait to come back ????????
This was my first visit, and I was surprised by the quality of their vegan options! I ordered the vegan falafel plate, which was healthy and absolutely delicious! It came with falafel, hummus, pita bread, garlic sauce, I added tabbouleh and the cucumber salad was stellar!!!
Despite the sweltering 105° day, the food was exceptionally fresh, flavorful, well-balanced, and of high quality. The customer service was great! I felt welcomed.
Zankou is authentic Mediterranean cuisine. I can't wait to return and try all the vegan variations. A must have!
Love, love this location. Staff is always so polite,and friendly! Agueda, is such an amazing manager, and the food is so delicious, I come by at least once a week. Always dine in, restaurant is always so clean. I definitely recommend. Great job, zankou chicken.
This is a must visit now whenever I’m in LA. I absolutely loved the food here and look forward to going back. Each time I’ve gone the staff has been fantastic about answering questions and making suggestions.
I’ve had the Chicken Kebab plate and the Chicken Tarna plate. I preferred the Kebab, I thought the breast meat’s flavoring was better but both were tasty. The hummus is delicious and they are generous with the pita that comes with the meal. For nearly $20 it’s a good well balanced meal with plenty of protein and healthy fats.
