A Mediterranean restaurant to go to rid yourself of your need for this type of fix! All the choices you have from kabobs and shawarma. We ordered the 1/4 Dark Chicken plate. Half Chicken plate and the Beef Kabobs. The orders came with hummus, salad and a whole bag of Pita Bread. What a treat!
How have I not tried Zankou's sooner? The food was fantastic. What really stood out to me was how their plates came with hummus and cucumber salad included. Unlike other Mediterranean restaurants where these are often side dishes you have to pay extra for, Zankou Chicken incorporates them perfectly into the meal. It made for a well-rounded and flavorful experience. There are so many different options to choose from on their menu that I can't wait to go back and try more. You can find parking right in front or on the side streets. You also have the option to order online or through their app for more convenience. The shop has that mom and pop vibe, but it's clean. The random Saturday night I went to it was pretty packed.
Been coming to this little place for 20 years and I just love her chicken fast service and Greek hospitably.
I’ve been to numerous Zankou chicken spots and they all have the same delicious taste and quality.
This review is based off an Uber Eats delivery and I ordered the half chicken plate with cucumber salad/rice. Love the garlic butter sauce and it really makes the meal along with the pita breads. The chicken quality is perfectly cooked and seasoned.
I’d definitely go here again and get some more of their other meals. It’s a solid recommendation to get you filled up for lunch or dinner.
The food was excellent. They're pretty busy, so if you're ordering online, allow an extra 10 or 15 minutes beyond the expected arrival time. The workers were obviously busy, but each one I interacted with was pleasant and professional in their demeanor and got the order out accurately in a reasonably expeditious fashion, given the level of demand. They offered everyone waiting a glass of water.. Would go again, but probably wouldn't break my neck getting there at the scheduled time on the minute at peak activity times.
Food was delicious ????. Best mertaren food I had so far. I have try other. 5 different one an this on top so far.
The staff was very friendly and kind, especially for a first time visitor. I highly recommend the tarna chicken with a side of hummus and tzaziki. The baklava was not drenched in simple syrup or honey, so it had a dryer texture, which didn't impact the flavor at all. If you want phenomenal Mediterranean/Middle Eastern chicken, this is the place.
We absolutely love Zankou Chicken! It is our favorite Mediterranean restaurant m. All of the food is prepared fresh and is delicious. I always get the Chicken Kebab Plate with Rice and Tahini Salad plus tons of that amazing Garlic Sauce and Tahini. The staff is very friendly at this location. They have a small parking lot behind the restaurant but you can almost always find street parking as well.
