Update:
Went again and food was great again, but service not so much.
Ordered two botanas for 6 and I have no complaints. For was good and warm. It was a lot, we could have a 6 and a 4 and still had leftovers.
Perfect place for a quick bite, sometimes you do have to wait no longer than 15 minutes to be seated but its is worth. Of course we went back, Try the Mexican burger you have a choice of fries or onions rings, caldo Tlalpeno. Is very good.
Food was cold. Felt like I was eating yesterday’s left overs. I ordered the chilaquiles and they were stale and they forgot my eggs and within seconds they had my eggs (cold). My wife ordered the 1 pork chops with eggs and they brought her 2 pork chops. Not once was I asked if I wanted more coffee. Tortillas were extremely cold also. I have never been so disappointed in eating here. This is actually one of my favorite restaurants to eat, but it feels like they dropped their standards. What a shame. Will never eat here again.
I think that on the first visit all was great. The food was delicious and the service was great too. The 2nd time (weekend) howeverit was not good. The food didn't taste good and it was cold. The waitress hardly checked on us. I was trying to impress my parents, but it was a flop. ???? The plate pictured is from first visit. ????
Always have to get the Botana Platter when we’re in town. Delicious!
My plate was supposed to be bean chalupas. Thier was a very thin layers of beans thin code like paint. The cheese was so thick to cover the lack of beans. Awful Awful ???? $9 for no beans. When ask to speak wt manager they said they didn't have one. He gave phone to waitress and waitress didn't want to speak to me. Had to hang up and on 3rd call he picked up. Never again, I should have stuck to Mrs G or El Pata.
This restaurant was recommended. We ordered the botana for two for a reasonable price. Only recommendation is this order for two could feed 3 to 4. Only thing is I didn’t like the refried beans, when tasted alone, it tasted like they had lard in them. Enjoyed the tortillas, especially the homemade corn tortillas! I will return to this restaurant.
Only place in the valley I go to for my botanas ???????????? Zamora’s NEVER disappoints! ????
