Zama has great food and friendly staff! We had the ceviche appetizer. Really yummy! As well as the Cozumel Shrimp tacos and the Quesabirria w Consume as entrees. Both really good and had great flavor. Delicious salsa too!
I was eager to order from this place due to pics on the site and recommendation from a coworker so I decided to place an order for lunch online. When i got there they could not find my order and I had to show proof of the order. I had to leave immediately after getting my food bc i was on lunch break.. they left off my guacamole.. the nachos had big chunks of peppers and onion not cooked well., i only had a few pieces of chicken scattered.. def not worthy of my coins. I am pissed that I wasted $20 on a meal that was not good and not hot at all smh. I won’t be going back. What an inconvenient! Refund me my money!!
Came here around 7 pm on a Thursday, and it was lovely but we were seated right away. Our server was attentive and the other staff was super friendly. We got the Mexican meatballs, watermelon margaritas, and quesabirria. When I tell you I could drowwwwwwn myself in these Mexican meatballs—omg they were so good!!! The margaritas were good too. The birria quesadilla was delicious as well. I can’t remember the dish my husband got. It had pulled chicken on rice with black beans and veggies. It was seasoned very well and also super yummy. Everything we had was great lol would def come here again!
This is one of my favorite places to go! The service is wonderful everybody's so nice and make you feel so welcome. The food is delicious! I consider it one of the top 3 restaurants in Smyrna.
Friday outing - Classic Mexican dishes. The fried Shrimp appetizer and Fish Tacos were delicious. The Margarita was lite - oh well. Will visit again.
This spot might be one of my new favorites.
The food - well-seasoned, extremely flavorful, and just the right portions. They have a wide assortment of things to try as well. Even though it was busy it came out perfectly cooked and hot.
The customer service - In a word, impeccable from top to bottom. El gerente (the manager) even took the time to address a concern I had and explained in detail what I needed to know with complete patience
The atmosphere-Be prepared for a little noise from the bar if you go during happy hour. It gets a bit rowdy but nothing too crazy. People are typically just having fun. Sit back and enjoy the show.
Overall, I loved my experience and we’ll be back.

The tacos on the special menu for Taco Tuesday are a little lackluster but the chicken soup is hearty. The bar area is quite popular between 5-6pm. You should dine here if in the area
I don’t know where to start or end, everything and everyone was great from beginning to end. Zama is officially added to my REGULARS list for sure. The food was great, the service was great, the ambiance was terrific. Can’t wait to come back.
