It was my first time there and I wasn't sure what I wanted. The staff wasn't very friendly and kind of seemed impatient. The menu was a little confusing. The food was decent but I thought the portion of meat was small for the price. I love Mediterranean food and have been to many restaurants, but whatever seasonings they used here gave me the worst burps ever!
This is my first time eating here. The food is very good. I ate a chicken kaban wrap. The amount of food is enough for a person. Very filling. The server very nice! Inside the restaurant very spacious. You can dine inside or outside. Highly recommend it.
Well, we know this is a chain restaurant now. The service is good. My recommendation is to order ahead. The food can take some time to prepare since it's grilled when you order it. But it is good and fresh. It is a bit pricey in my opinion. About $20 a person for the platter. But it's good for a quick Mediterranean fix. Parking can become a hassle. But it's good.
Came to Fontana the second time this month and decided since I visited a Mediterranean place, I had to check out the competition. I personally thought Zaky’s was better. There were slight differences, the hummus was ok the meat, rice and grilled veggies good. It was clean, cold and comfortable inside. The customer service was more than happy to answer all my questions.
No air conditioning... No air conditioning... no air conditioning! Putting a humidifier by the front door is not air conditioning. The cook seems to be not all in a hurry to get anyone's orders ready. He stood on the side and talked with a customer for a few minutes, someone he apparently knew while the girl behind the counter stepped up to take his place. This is not good to see as a customer when there's six people standing in line ordering and waiting for their food. This place is Miss managed and if they can't afford to run the air conditioning then maybe they shouldn't be in business especially on a day when it's 100° out. If you read the reviews you can see that there's been others who complained about there being no air conditioning so it's not just me complaining and it's obviously intentional on the management part. I have to say that the food is good and they give you big portions. Food doesn't get a 5 because some of the side dishes are a little too greasy. Whoever owns this business needs to step up fast to stop the deluge of 1, 2 and 3 star reviews and fix these issues before it's too late.
I ordered take out so wasn’t really sure what I was getting. But I was disappointed. It said it came with a sauce but I saw no option for a sauce with it, normally the sauce is in the gyro itself which it wasn’t. Secondly, the meat was dry and overcooked. I’ve never encountered this with lamb meat ever. Flavor was lacking. It was ok only bc of the little tzatziki sauce I had in which I had to pay for.
This place is the most overpriced place for simply veggies and a little bit of dry meat.
Buyer beware of the nickel and diming tactics of this place. They attempt every trick to elevate the price.
Lastly, take your order to go. They have the loudest fountain drink machines in the county.
Let me start by saying this place is the worst in every sense.no customer service at all. They don’t keep the Air on super stuffy. Overpriced. Absolutely ridiculous service. Took 10 mins to take my order only had one person ahead of me. Look else where these people only after your money. AVOID AVOID
