5 stars for this mess? I really was disappointed in the burrito after seeing about 10 5 star ratings for this restaurant. The burrito was huge, a good thing. BUT: cheddar cheese on a burrito? Yuck! The wet burrito green sauce was hot, well above medium. The meat was terrible - full of tendon, gristle and joint. I recommend you stay away.
Food was delicious!! Literally so so good. I got the Tom’s Burrito but substituted the salsa verde for the enchilada sauce to be less spicy. So much flavor. My husband got the Birria plate and that was amazing. We also got a horchata. One of the best horchatas we have had. Cozy atmosphere, and all of the men working here are so so kind and attentive.

We wanted Mexican food before going to see Madonna in concert and stumbled upon this restaurant. My friends ordered the Tom’s burrito and the shredded beef quesadilla with a side of green salsa verde. I ordered the barria plate with tortillas. The margaritas were one of the best I have had. Everything was absolutely amazing and the service was top notch. Everyone was really nice! We will be back for sure.

Excellent salsa and service. Shrimp enchiladas were 2.5/5 due to lack of flavor (same for the rice and refried beans). Maybe just an off meal that I got b/c the reviews are so high and they were busy.
Tom's Burrito is massive and delicious. The fact that I got that, it came with chips and salsa, and I got a horchata all for less than $20 is unreal. This will probably be my go to Mexican spot whenever I'm in or around Hawthorne.
The service here is outstanding. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted warmly and enthusiastically. The staff seem genuinely happy you're there. I tried this place for the first time at lunchtime on a Friday. The place was pretty packed when I walked in (good sign!). I was immediately seated and asked what I'd like to drink. I ordered a horchata which was delightful and not overly sweet. They also offer free refills. Complimentary chips and (delicious) fresh salsa arrived in less than a minute. Their menu is pretty expansive with a good variety of Mexican fare. I decided on the quesabirria tacos (3) and consume since I had read such great reviews about them. They didn't disappoint! Hot crispy corn tortillas filled with succulent and juicy meat and melted cheese, served with a flavorful consume for dipping. There was even some fried cheese stuck to the outside of the tacos which I thoroughly enjoyed. They were a pretty decent size and I was full after eating two of the tacos so I took the third one home to enjoy later. They were happy to pack that up for me, along with the rest of my chips and salsa. The service was very friendly, attentive, and efficient. I will definitely be back! I can't wait to try some of their other options!
Waiter was exceptional , great service.
The food not so much , the chips and salsa taste like pace. Enchiladas are good , ground beef tacos not good. Way too high of prices for food quality.
