They have a drive-thru the food was hot The food is inexpensive and the food is good. I would say the green beans are straight out the can but add a little salt and pepper you'll be fine. The crab cake that they gave me could have been cooked a little more but it had a good taste. Overall good little place to stop when you're on 20 going east or west
I ordered the 2 plate combo with 3 sides. Only got two pieces of chicken and two pieces of catfish. Ordered green beans, mash potatoes, and baked beans. Only got the baked beans and green beans. Ordered fried pickles but gave me and charged me for fried green tomatoes when I'm allergic to tomatoes so cool. Double check your food and receipts when you go. I came back from work and was just starving plus it's right in front of the hotel I was staying at.
Food is alright made right after I placed my order tables needed attention(crums on top of table and paper stuck between table top)
We were greeted on 11/24/2023 before closing by a sweet young lady. She was pleasant and gave her recommendations.

We had the pick 2 platter. Catfish and shrimp were to perfect, seasoned well and not overcooked. Very fresh and the fish was a perfect crispy outside and fluffy flake inside

Turnip greens I had a love hate for lol. Extreme spicy kick but sweet but not balanced. However, I would get them again, I think. Fries were fresh, toast was perfect, hushpuppies crispy and sweet, fried green tomatoes a little greasy, but hey, a little grease okay you could see the seasoned batter.

Appetizers are amazing ????
Fried Okra and Tomatoes were true Southern food and fresh made. The chicken was delicious and the cheese bites were really good also. The only complaint was the fried fish. Need some seasoning or change in batter. Maybe use the okra batter on the fish too ????????♂️
We'll definitely be back though, it was really really good!
Worst seafood platter I've ever had.
For price ofplatter, food wasnt up to par!! it wasnt worth $25. I'm very disappointed in them. Their seafood platters used to be very good. Oysters were so small, nothing but crust. One small piece fish. 4 small shrimp, one crab, mostly fries and coleslaw. So sad!!
I just had the best experience here! I ordered the pick 2 platter with catfish & shrimp. The fish was seasoned well & fried perfectly. Not soggy, very crispy but not overcooked! Same for the shrimp. Not to mention it was piping hot & fresh when I got it. They also have a very pleasant young man in the drive thru who made sure I had all my extras, & had good conversation while I waited. Just an overall great experience, & I will definitely visit again
In a career of finding hidden gems, this is probably one of the best finds. It is exactly what you would expect from a catfish place in Mississippi. Great catfish, great hush puppies and some of the best greens you'll ever eat. Don't let the beautiful interior fool you, this is the real deal.
