Such a nice place to enjoy the views and eat some good food. We came for lunch and got the dinner pizza. IT WAS DELICIOUS. It was the right amount of spice and a different flavor take on pizza. The fish sandwich was also very yummy. Just as we were leaving it started to snow! Would recommend.
We were so pleasantly surprised by this restaurant on the lake. Although there was a wait for the table we had a beautiful view and walk until table was ready.
It was extremely busy yet our server Laura was lovely and handled it quite well. The bread bowl was a hit with all of us. The large pizza we ordered was quite ample and scrumptious. My grandson thoroughly enjoyed his pesto pasta. We will def come back on our next visit to Tahoe.
Za’s Pizza on the water in North Lake Tahoe offers some of the best vibes and views in the entire region. The first thing that hits you is the breathtaking scenery, perfectly complementing the relaxed atmosphere. But the true star is the pizza, which is absolutely phenomenal. Each slice is a testament to culinary perfection, making it a go-to spot for pizza lovers.
The service is incredibly accommodating and friendly, ensuring that every visit feels special. I recently took my family here for lunch after a nice afternoon walk and some time at the beach. It was exactly what we needed—a clean, crisp, fresh beer and a delicious slice of pizza, all while sharing great times in the sun with a little bit of spritzes as well. Za’s Pizza provided the perfect escape and a memorable experience for us all.
Also, I noticed there is a venue space on the third floor for private events and weddings which you wouldn’t expect for a place that would be serving pizza but it’s so nice and atmosphere is so wonderful. It makes it a really great spot to host really nice events.
I should have read the reviews or even the website better. They have 2 menus (lunch & dinner). I was unaware but as being closer to 5;we decided to wait for the dinner menu. We did order a pizza and wedge salad as we waited. The young lady that waited on us was extremely nice and helpful. The views are beautiful as you're sitting out over looking the lake.
Really enjoyed Za's Lake Front Restaurant in Tahoe City, Lake Tahoe. Able to sit outside next to the water, got to see lots of ducks. Though picnic tables are not always the most comfortable, we had plenty of room. We were told up to an hour wait, but seated within a half hour. All the staff was quite lovely, and friendly. My water glass was never empty.
Phenomenal place with phenomenal views of Lake Tahoe… please ask for Laura. She is such an amazing waitress! Super kind and very helpful! I would eat here again if I had the time. The pizza is amazing too! The chicken pesto is delicious!
Came here because we stay nearby and we couldn’t get reservations elsewhere. We both ordered classic pasta dishes, clams linguine and meatballs spaghetti. Too bad, this was really awful, pasta was overcooked and the sauce was runny and the meatballs were burnt, I hope they can make a better sauce and meatballs next time … However , the view of the lake was great.
Prime location on Lake Tahoe, this is a great place for a summertime brunch. Beautiful views of the lake, decent cocktails, and good sandwiches (skip the fish and chips). However, it can get busy, so service can be slow. Parking can be difficult to find, so be prepared to walk for 5-10 minutes, if you can find a parking spot.
