It wasn't too busy. The prices are reasonable. It has a nice atmosphere. The service was friendly, but a bit slow. My food wasn't that special tasting. There were good menu options.
Our experience was nothing short than amazing. Tom was our waiter and provided very attentive service. The menu is very pricey so be prepared.
Not sure if the energy of the restaurant matches the cost of the experience. I would recommend this Tex Mex style menu and you decide for yourself.
I recently visited and gave 3 stars because of the food and service.
The manager was fantastic when we first arrived, very welcoming, and promptly seated us at our table.
Our server greeted us with friendliness but fell short in some areas. Our server took our drink order. When she finally walking back to deliver our drinks, she got distracted by another table. Instead of telling them to wait a moment, she set our drinks on an empty table while she attended to them. After 7 minutes of being at their table she brought us our drinks that was just sitting.
She eventually brought our drinks and took our food order. Unfortunately, when the food arrived, some meals were cold. My Jerk chicken pasta was burnt, and despite trying to eat it, the burnt taste was overpowering.
The manager was very polite, noticed the grill marks, and apologized sincerely. Both managers were awesome and very attentive.
Our server was very nice but needed improvement in certain areas.
We arrived into Phx for a wedding and decided to stop off at this establishment. From the moment we arrived at the restaurant, Adam, manager, was very accommodating and helpful. He greeted my family and I and provides suggestions. Our waitress, drinks and food was just as amazing. I'll definitely come back to the restaurant when I am in the area.
In 2023, my personal top 5 dine-in experiences revolved around an exceptional venue with an abundance of delightful features. The bubbly sensation in my beverage perfectly complemented the weather, while the attentive mixologist sought my input, enhancing the overall experience. The spacious and luminous setting maintained ideal distances between tables, with an open kitchen showcasing the culinary expertise and hygiene standards. Each dish was a sensory delight, from the succulent beef to the crisp freshness of the vegetables. The timely service included delectable homemade cornbread, further elevating the meal presentation with thoughtfully curated tableware. The dessert served as a perfect finale. The artistic elements within the restaurant, particularly the captivating strokes in the main hall, provided a welcoming ambiance for first-time visitors to Phoenix, making it an ideal venue for hosting guests. Moreover, the unexpected charm of the colorful glass-paneled alcove added an extra layer of enchantment. Remarkably, our bill for two, including appetizers, cocktails, two main courses, and dessert, totaled around $70, with the added bonus of a satisfaction survey to share feedback and suggestions—an extraordinary value indeed.
Z'tejas has a great happy hour and they have the best Chambord frozen margarita! I also like their shrimp tostada bites. I sat at the bar and the service was great!
Stopped in after dropping the dogs off at the groomer. Service was excellent (Lauren was our server! Attentive, Polite and was honest about the menu) was our server!! Food was AMAZING!! Drinking were well made!! (Not to strong but not weak either). The manager was actively involved with the wait staff! Overall a 5 star experience!! ( Sorry no pics of food before we started eating! We just dug in!)
The mushroom enchilada will change your life. Seriously. Just try it. I don't give five stars easily, for the record.
