Great bar atmosphere very traditional, and the restaurant portion of the bar or the food was great. I went in there to actually grab a carry-out but I decided to sit down and stay. I placed an order for the chicken sandwich. By the way was spectacular. They did mess up I wanted no barbecue sauce or on the side and they forgot but I was in a hurry by the time I placed the order within five minutes. It was ready so they must’ve been, anticipating some big crowds. Regardless, can’t expect much more from a bar/restaurant than this. I would definitely recommend this place for quickly grabbing a drink or getting some food or staying all night great atmosphere
Attended for dinner, just before trivia started.
This was my first wet burrito and it was super yummy. I got the beef and I do not regret it. Generous portions too.
We also had a blue chicken burger with seasoned tater tots which where simply amazing! The Spinach dip with pretzel bites were also super yummy.
Once trivia started it was too loud to have a conversation, so if you are going to chat, go before trivia.
Busy place! In town for a concert, stopped in for a quick bite before the show. Very busy place but they got us in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Just had the fried cheese curds which were tasty and nice sized. Brother had a Ruben which they said was very good
Cool place! Gives a Gatsby Retro Bar vibe. Pricey but the food was good and our waitress was kind, attentive. Saturday midday, walked right in and were seated quick. Good part of the city. Nice clean bathrooms. A+
Always looked to Z's for the local atmosphere. Been here a handful of times over the years. Tonight was my first bad experience. We recently got married, so my wife had a stapled ID. We were refused admission because she tripped on their step. Deemed "too drunk" she had not been drinking. Watch out for power-tripping bouncers.
Normally I’m very happy with our experience here but tonight was very different. The guy on the phone seemed like he was unsure if he got our order right but never read it back to have it checked and then when my boyfriend got home from picking up food for our whole family ($80+) I realized that the salad I paid $23.50 for with the steak was literally a half of head of lettuce and the steak was so unbelievably overdone it was practically inedible. After a super long and stressful day I was really looking forward to my one decent meal to be right :(
We had the BEST experience at Z’s last night!!!! We walked in with 12ppl & all of the Staff did their best to get us in! Once we were sat our server Shawn was on his game!!!! He was so attentive, polite & quick! The food came out in incredible time!!! Especially for a group that big! We were in town for a Vball Tourney & this was hands down our best restaurant experience of the season!!! Thank you Team Z’s!!!
Great place! Workers did awesome when we showed up with 20-30 people at 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon before wedding reception.
