Best WLM Reviews
Z Place has a special place in my heart, one of the first good pizzas I ever had the chance to try. That said, the review is honest.
We ate inside. The interior leaves a bit to be desired, party lights strung from the ceiling, bare walls, and lackluster seating. The arcade games I always thought were cool, but don't match the astectic.
We ordered. It was 45 minutes from order to food on the table. The waiter apologized for the wait.
The staff could be heard laughing and making noises, seemingly mostly younger people. It didn't bother us.
The pizza was great, just like it always is. Classically cut into squares, with delicious cheese, hearty flavorful sauce, generous toppings, and a crust you'll find nowhere else. If you haven't tried Z place, give it a shot, even if only for carryout. It may just become your favorite pizza.
I called to order carry out, and was on hold for an extremely long time before I could attempt an order. Then when I go to get my order they didn't even have half of my order started. They tried to give me what part of my order they had complete and acted totally lost when I asked for the rest of my food. Then, after they realized they never even attempted that part of my order they laughed and thought it was no big deal.
Great pizza and friendly staff. Plenty of seating available. If you haven't tried this place out you need to. Get the King Z or whatever it's called. Huge thing crust pizza.
I'd say this place is a solid 4.5 stars, and I'll very likely be back again.
For one thing, the gentleman answering the phone and seemingly running the place all by himself on a Saturday was friendly, polite, and professional on the phone.
The food was ready on-time, and the thin-crust 'The Z-pizza' is pretty good. The Chicken Club Sub is delicious though and stole all the limelight ????
There is an extra 4% charge for using a credit card, which is mostly understandable since they probably paid 2.9% - 3.9% + $0.30, but just something to keep in mind, especially if you're comparing prices to some other pizza joint which probably doesn't do the same.
The total for a 10" pizza and a 12" sub was roughly $25 before tip, and I'll probably get 3 meals out of it.
Anyway, I'll be curious to check out their baked potatoes next time (though I might've been enticed earlier if the menu had pictures on it ;-)
Sunday Oct 30. Place an order online at 5:27. Was told online it would be ready at 6:15. Get there at 6:20. Told it has “five more minutes.” Get told this multiple times and finally demand my food or refunded. The guy says, well if you want a half baked pizza, I can give it to you now”. This is at 6:57. Check the photo of the pizza. A women took my info and said the owner would contact me Monday. It’s Wednesday. Still haven’t heard from them.
Great little place! Our first visit! Really excellent little cozy place to get good food! Would have brought some quarters had we known there were some old arcade games there!
Food is great when you get it fresh and when you don't here the "welcome to verizon wireless when trying to call which you get at anytime of the day... I live with about 2 miles away and if I get delivery it is cold every time and the last time every single bit of toppings were slid off the pizza. They don't like when you call in complaints either. They are stand offish and don't really care to here about your bad experience. If they see you call back after your pizza is delivered They will let it go to voicemail if the relize it's you calling after the fact. ONLY DO PICK UP. food is good only reason I gave it 2 stars. Didn't want to do this review but fool me 10 times shame on you right?!
Can't wait for the condescending owner to comment back on the bad review.
The blond cashier is hotter than the cheese!
and the bread sticks are just as thick as her buns!.
Absolutely the best place to get bread sticks in Huntington !
