Most delicious and fresh sushi ???? I've ever had! I also got a soup and I loved it! So flavourful! They also have carry out, and a small but coze dining area where you are served happily by their staff dressed in traditional Japanese clothes. The sushi bar is nice for those who want to see the art of sushi making in action ???? . I can't wait to go back!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I’ve been coming to Yuraku pretty often and it continues to impress every single time! The fact that they’ve been in business for so long—even through the challenges of Covid—is a testament to their outstanding quality and service.
The sushi is always fresh, beautifully presented, and there’s such a wide variety that it’s impossible not to find something you love. Whether it’s classic rolls, sashimi, or their creative specialty items, every bite is a delight.
The staff are warm and attentive, keeping the buffet well-stocked and the dining area clean. I also appreciate how they’ve maintained great standards over the years—it’s rare to find a restaurant that consistently delivers excellence for this long.
Yuraku truly sets the bar for sushi buffets, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re a sushi lover, this is the place to be!
The lunch buffet was the perfect way to sample all the best menu items at Yuraku. We tried all of the sushi rolls, which were fres, the japchae, spicy pork, barbecue chicken, and tempura varieties. Everything was delicious and filling! The price was super reasonable as well.
If you're looking to indulge in some sushi, you won't be disappointed with this place, which offers a variety of lunch specials that are good enough to satisfy even if the sushi isn't top-notch.
I recommend this place because it has a much larger selection and higher quality of sushi than the sushi buffet restaurant at Fairfax Mall.
I went back here after almost a year and was very satisfied, and it's a place I would visit often if it were closer.
It's a bit of a drive from Northern Virginia, but if you can make it here on a free weekday lunch hour, you'll be happy you did.
As a side note, if you pay with cash, you'll get a 5% discount on your bill, so it might be worth bringing some cash with you.
Food was really good! Would only recommend that the lunch buffet hours had been added to the website so we wouldn't have missed it (12pm-2pm). Will try to come again during those hours. The rolls were really big and filling.
I first went here around 15 years ago when I was interning at NIST. Me and some of the other interns I met would frequently treat ourselves to the buffet on Fridays. Even as poor college students who were more concerned about spending money, we thought the deal here was too good to be true. For example, our other favorite was Cici's pizza buffet for $3.99 so the fact that we were willing to spend whatever it was back then to go to this place should tell you something.
After moving back to the area, this place popped into my head and I had to find out if it was still open. To my delight, it is still going strong and is the same as I remember. If you like sushi, you'll be hard pressed to come close to the value you get here.
The have a great selection of fresh sushi. Of course being a buffet it's not the best sushi you will ever eat, but it's still very good and I think it's many levels above any other sushi I've had at a buffet. You can also try a large variety of different sushi here, which you can't really do other places, unless you want to spend tons of $$. There was also many other non sushi dishes as well. Pretty much everything I've had is good but my favorites are the assorted tempura and the watercress vegetable. Highly recommend this place.
Food was great and I love everything!! Went here for my birthday and will continue to come here for the rest of my life!
My fave go to sushi place whenever I’m in the DMV. My family & I have been visiting for years before we moved out of the area. Still some of the best and freshest sushi, sashimi, and nigiri ????!! Love your udon and age tofu too. That was years ago… recently came back to visit. Sushi is still good, super fresh. Everyone there I remembered changed… still good and diff with a new staff preparing and serving and what used to be part of the like miso soup and salad is for a small charge.
