Places an online order and received a text a few minutes later that they had received my order and it would be ready in about 25 minutes. Walked in and the hostess pointed me to the bar where they were bagging MANY orders! Was greeted and presented with everything and asked if I needed any utensils or sides, got home and everything was just as ordered. Did we mention delicious? Hot, fresh and filling. Our go to is YH when we're not eating pizza.
The barbecue pork with greens was very good. Crispy egg rolls were a rip off. Eight dollars for four very small egg rolls that had no feeling to speak of. Whoever made them should be fired.
Ordered Mongolian beef and it was ok. Some of the beef was a bit too chewy but Service was very fast maybe because they were a bit slow. My search for good Chinese Food continues.
Probably one of the worst Chinese restaurants we ever went to. Fried calamari had a funky smell and was dipped in thick donut batter. Chicken with mixed vegetables was not fresh and white rice was not included. Pork lo mein was pale and flavorless. Also, they wear t-shirts claiming that they are #1 at 4 locations ????
Incredible food! Want to try the dumplings next time. Our server Arturo was fantastic! Enjoyed the egg rolls, house fried rice and bbq beef dish with my wife! Location is tough to get into from Taiami, but if you come up the side street Easy access. Plenty of seating and nice bar area as well! My favorite dish was the salt and pepper shrimp, specifically the toppings
We came here on a Sunday with a big group for lunch to celebrate birthdays. We had 23 in the group and had a 35 minutes wait. They were willing to put us all at separate tables to accommodate our big party. Service was fast. Food tasted delicious. But we did not realize that plates were sharable portions, so we took a lot home. I highly recommend the calamari and all the fried rice. Put that leftover topping from the calamari onto of the rice, yum!

Went for dim sum for the first time. Not my first time eating dim sum. Lived in Hawaii where dim sum was everywhere in China town.
My husband went here for dim sum before and said it was great. He had the scallops on chef’s special. So we got it this time. We were given shrimp instead! We thought maybe they made a mistake.
So we ordered it a second time. I opened it up and still shrimp inside. Were they trying to pass shrimp for scallop? I know what scallop tastes like.
When we asked the server she took it to the back and said it’s mixed with shrimp. Barely any scallops, looks like chopped mush with shrimp.
The shrimp (har gow) is $4.99 vs the scallop is $5.50. It’s only a $0.50 difference but if I order scallops I expect scallops and not chopped mush with filler shrimp.
Very disappointed. The hong kong dim sum is too doughy, not enough meat or broth. The har gow dough was also too thick although there is good enough filling in it. Vegetable was too tough.
Maybe it was a bad day for them but that was not a good experience. Even the server did not look happy to be serving us.
Only saving grace was the egg tarts.

A pleasant surprise! Never thought the interior would be sleek and modern. I wanted to get dim sum but unfortunately they only serve it for lunch.
Everything was delicious but the crispy noodles were our favorite. We like the generous amounts of vegetables in the dishes we ordered.
We’re looking forward to coming back for dim sum.
Our family has been a fan of Yummy House since the first location over 15 years ago in Tampa. Now we think they have six locations in Florida. The location in Tampa is our favorite because of many Hong Kong family style meals & life celebrations. Each location has a similar menu, but chefs' seasoning, etc, will vary slightly. Sarasota is the one we frequent most, and it never disappoints. Salt & pepper fried eggplant, Mongolian beef, orange chicken, duck & raisin fried rice are just a few favorites. Dining alone? Try lunch for individual portions; but what's the fun of good Chinese food if you don't take home leftovers!
