The price of the food and the flavors with the portions that you get are fantastic and the menu is vast with a lot of options to choose from. The dumplings were very large and delicious with a generous amount of filling and flavor when paired with the sauce. The spicy calamari had a nice crisp with a perfect ratio of breading to calamari and the spice level was perfect. The clay pots were definitely the star of the meal for me with the mix of ingredients and the depth of flavor from the sauce base they used. I would definitely come back again to try more!
I recently picked up lunch from Yummy House in Altamonte for myself and some customers, and I was thoroughly impressed. The sweet and sour chicken and the special spicy yummy chicken were both outstanding.
The lunch deal offered was excellent, providing great value for the quality of food. The service was fast and efficient, and the food arrived fresh and steamy, which made for a satisfying meal. The spicy yummy chicken had just the right kick, and the sweet and sour chicken was perfectly balanced.
Yummy House definitely delivered on both taste and service. I’ll be sure to return and recommend it to anyone looking for delicious, freshly prepared Chinese food.
I love Yummy House. My boyfriend introduced me to this place and we have been back many times. He is Malaysian and is a bit of a Chinese food snob. This is one of his goto places.
Highly recommended!
I was honestly so disappointed in the food. I wanted something a little more authentic. I love ma po tofu. It's one of my favorite Chinese dishes and their mapo tofu is NOT at all mapo tofu. It does not have any szechuan peppercorn flavor and it is completely lacking the spicy bean paste in it. It was however unfortunately not lacking hair. I suspect beard hair.
They did not have general chicken for my husband so I ordered spicy sesame chicken to which they recommended yummy chicken. And it was soggy, dry, and tasted old. It was not enjoyable. Even the flavor was very empty.
I loved the lo mein though. Did not love the squid being in there but I can live with it.
In my opinion the food is incredibly over priced. It doesn't even come with rice. The quality is incredibly low. Also my white rice had weird brown stuff on it? Idk.
Excellent Chinese food. I ordered the Sesame chicken and chicken friend rice and it was extremely fresh and tasty. The rice was cooked to perfection and the sauce on the Sesame Chicken was amazing.
Wait service was extremely prompt and attentive throughout the meal. Parking was plentiful convenient. My only wish was that they did the lunch specials on the weekend. It just would make it more convenient for parties of friends or colleagues.
Super delicious meal. It has to be the best restaurant in florida for an Asian fare!
The fried rice is on point and the beef strips came out sizzling and super flavorful. No one else comes close for flavour and quality. The service is extremely nice, quick and very willing to explain everything.
We will be coming back and recommending it to our friends and family!
An amazing experience with wonderful attention to detail. You will not find a other Chinese restaurant as delicious as this one. As someone who finds joy in food, I have never felt happier than eating the dishes here.
First time trying here, and I did because I heard good things, but anyway, I ordered the lunch house fried rice which was 11.99. It was cooked well but not much flavor, and I understand that a lot of Chinese fried rice is not cooked with soy or oyster sauce, but that is my preference. I love Chinese take out wings when they get the oil temp right and have plenty of crisp and flavor, so I ordered the salt and pepper wings. Not much for another 11.99 and definitely not my thing. I hit the low option for a tip because this was takeout, but my bill still came to 31 dollars. Whatever happened to good takeout Chinese with four full size wings and hot, flavorful fried rice. That's all I tried there so maybe the noodles or something else is better, but too expensive for lunch.
