This place seems like it depends on who's doing the cooking, u might enjoy ur food? The sesame chicken on a bed of rice with broccoli was always delicious, when my daughter grab some for lunch(this past summer)but then she just got dinner from there tonight 12/13/24, her sesame chicken and sweet & sour chicken, were both fried so hard that the sauces they come with/in, didn't even help make them less crispy. The employee she talked to, explained what he thought the problem was? The cook had over-fried the food, but still acted as if there was nothing they could or would do to make it right? Basically, it was like "Oh well, that was our fault but make sure u come on back!" type of attitude. She just hung up on him after realizing that he wasn't going to offer a refund or a fresh new order for those items.
I don't believe in the "Customer's Always Right" crap, because that's entitlement so many ppl don't deserve, due to how horrible some folks behave when they walk into an establishment? It is however, a contract(IMO)where if u pay for something, u should be 100% satisfied? It's terrible business when after they get their payment(if u have any reasonable complaints)suddenly it's "That's just too bad if u aren't happy?" type of disposition? That's an unprofessional service if I've ever known one to be, and sadly, here in the city of Rochester, u should consider urself blessed if u choose any establishment where there are no complaints or especially, rude employees?
Every restaurant in the inner city/suburbs, should count there blessings that most customers haven't received or know about the massive list of food locations, who have long lists of current violations on their property? Ppl would be surprised to know that a lot of these locations are not from the inner city? Tbh, I haven't seen this establishment on there but for ur own safety it doesn't hurt to look into that list because a lot of places aren't storing or cooking food at the right temps, they're not keeping everything sanitized and most places have insects and mice problems. I repeat, this business is NOT on the list. They just need better customer service, IMO.
Good food and lots of fun. Simple but pleasant atmosphere with friendly staff. Nothing fancy but good quality food and clean environment. This it the first time I had hot pot and really enjoyed the experience. For anyone who hasn't tried it you order a broth base such as chicken or vegetable and it comes in a pot which is set on a hot plate set down into the table. This comes with a little plate of vegetables and you can order other items such as dumplings, chicken, mushrooms, or noodles to put into your pot and scoop out when it is cooked. It is a great place to eat with friends or family as you can hang out and keep adding to the pot whenever you want more. Give it a try!
Review for A la carte and not hot pot. Food was tasty. Got the Thai curry and hot tea. Hot tea was okay, neither extraordinary nor poor. The only thing i am not satisfied is the customer service. They served me food and never came back to check on. I had to go and call them. Even after this, they added 15% gratuity as the tip is compulsory abd automatic. 15% for such a bad customer service! It wasn't even worth 1%.
So 4 starts for food but 0 for service
Ordered food through grubhub. Food delivered hot...even egg roll! Kung pao chicken was delicious and huge portion...had 3 meals. Hot and sour soup ok, could be spicier and maybe some meat, like chicken, shrimp...
I thought the food was ok. My friend enjoyed it. You get to cook your own food in the warm pot of broth they put in front of you.
A duplicate of Yummy Garden buffet. They are the same restaurant with different dine in option. This one is likely for the Ala carte option where you order entrees individually. The all you can eat hotpot buffet if overpriced with cheap low quality food items. Small variety of food selection. Meat and soup base cost extra. Very friendly service. Spacious and quite quiet when we went.
Although it takes a while to make the pot, it is one awesome thing to try. I ordered a veggie pot and my friends tried spicy pot with rolled chicken. They both were amazing; The quantities are huge so do visit when you are real hungry ! They usually close the kitchen half an hour before the hours posted online.
Food was delicious! Except I would suggest having an additional tong for the meat products from the dry veggies. Overall, everything was delicious
