5 stars all around to this place. We went twice and both times, the service was great! The staff members were incredibly friendly and the food was SO good! We ordered the Salmon, detox salad, kids mickey pancakes, & the Belgian waffles. It was all delicious! The salmon was the best we tried on the island. Our kids ordered hot chocolate and they dressed it up for the littles by adding colorful marshmallows and a blue syrup. They loved it! Of all the restaurants we tried the week we were here, Yummies was the best as far as food & customer service! ????????
Food, service and atmosphere great. Wouldn’t change a thing. Will visit again before we leave and hopefully when we return. My husband and I both orders two plates of food. There was MORE than enough for us two and our two small children. Coffee was delicious as well. And I’m picky about my coffee. Highly recommend.
This place is da bomb! My kids ordered the hot cocoa and it came covered in whipped cream, rainbow marshmallows whipped cream and sprinkles! I ordered a special latte and it was amazing. The crab cake bennie was so good and had delicious hollandaise and dill. The breakfast taco plate my husband ordered was wildly huge. More like a burrito than a taco but tasted so good. Definitely recommend!
This is hands down the best breakfast place I've ever been to. We were a party of 6. The service was phenomenal! I tried the new seafood omelette and it was stuffed with shrimp and crab. I couldn't stop eating it it was so good. The vibe was very relaxing and didn't feel rushed even the slightest but our food came out very timely. I will be talking about this place for a LONG time when I get back to New York.
The menu had a variety of breakfast and lunch options. The hot chocolate came with a serving of diabetes, which my kids loved! Full of whipped cream, chocolate sauce, marshmallows, sprinkles and a chocolate candy on top. The kid's menu items were large as were the regular menu items. We had the Belgium waffle, avocado toast and Mickey's pancake. Everything was delicious although pricey.
The food here is amazing.
My husband and I ate here everyday we were here. The Spanish macchiato is delicious, hot or cold. The pancakes are thick. As my husband says: a sickness for the thickness.
Such a great breakfast place! Portions are very large, some of the bigger breakfast plates could probably be shared if you’re not a big breakfast eater. This place fills up quickly so either get there early or be prepared to wait a little while for a table. It’s worth the wait though. Your party won’t be seated until everyone has arrived and parking does fill up quickly as well.
We highly recommend dining at this establishment when visiting South Padre Island. We enjoyed an assortment of smoothies and a Spanish machiatto, an espresso-based coffee drink made with four shots of espressoper my request, which provided a satisfying caffeine boost.
