I’m from out of state happen to be staying down the road and found this nice little place. Food was delicious, extremely flavorful at a good price! The restaurant is run by a nice sweet woman that tried to refuse my tip. I would definitely eat here again.
Such a great hidden gem that I found tonight for dinner. Food was excellent. The owner is the sweetest lady. She runs this place all alone and does everything herself. Food was fresh made to order. She told me every morning she picks the vegetables from her own garden at home and that is what she uses on a daily at the restaurant. Definitely will be back.
My husband and I just had the absolute best meal ever at this little restaurant! The owner runs the shop herself, does all of the cooking, and grows all if the fresh vegetables used in her dishes in her garden at home. It was a slow Sunday afternoon so we also had the pleasure of chatting with her and getting to know her…she was the absolute sweetest little lady. Yum yummy will definitely be iur go to restaurant every time were in the Toledo area! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great food, with fresh-tasting ingredients and quality product. And the service and attentiveness by the owner was absolutely fantastic! She welcomed us in and accommodated us in every way. The food was excellent, and very tasty. Pot stickers were fantastic, so was the Hunan pork and the sweet and sour chicken. Absolutely wonderful dinner!
Mother Ping is an absolute gem, and her little restaurant is such a wonderful and relatively undiscovered treat. The food is nothing short of surprisingly delicious. Not your typical “Chinese” place in the US. You owe it to yourself to eat here, and trust Mother Ping’s “recommendations.”My wife ate here all the time during college and that was 18 years ago. It’s still just as good as it was then.
What a hidden gem! I was passing through town and in the mood for Chinese food. I went in and spoke to a regular who sang the food's praises. I ordered too much but wanted to try a variety of dishes. It was all delicious, fresh and clearly cooked to order. The owner was delightful as well. Terrific food and value.
The restaurant is operated by an older couple. The wife is the cook. We found this place 6 or 7 years ago when we were in this city for a sports event. She was serving authentic Chinese western region beef noodles then. We loved it so much that whenever we pass here, we would go. After Covid, they completely changed the menu. Since we loved her cooking so much we know it would be good whatever she offers. Sure enough, the chicken dish and tofu dish we had today are very good, authentic home cooked meals. ????????
We were traveling through Perrysburg and had a hankering for Chinese food and we picked Yum Yummy's and we are glad we did. We called the order in and arrived at the designated time but she was still cooking our meal so I knew it was fresh and not waiting for someone to order it. It was the best Chinese food I've ever had. I had the chicken teriyaki and my wife ordered the combination. I heartily recommend Yum Yummy's!
