My wife and daughter and I just finished eating here and it was wonderful. The restaurant looks great and the service was very good. Greeted with a lemon grass warm towel to cleanse our hands was a really nice touch. All three of us loved our food. I had a nuke town roll and various nigiri all was excellent! My daughter had the bacon roll and really enjoyed it so much that she finished it quickly! I would definitely recommend this sushi restaurant. Best sushi I have had in quite awhile! Update we ate here last night so 3 years later and it's not the same.....it was average to fair food wise and even less so for service.
Stopped by with an hour to kill before a movie. Had the Pork Belly Frites as an appetizer. Could have eaten the whole thing by myself! The drizzled sauce was amazing and the fries very crunchy. Also had the ramen bowl with pork belly. This was not bland boiled pork belly either. It was seasoned, roasted perfection! 10/10 would go back!
One of the best sushi restaurants I’ve been to. I ordered a mixed platter of sushi, spiced edamame, a salad, miso soup, and beef teriyaki and rice. Everything was splendid. The fish was succulent and rich in flavor and the miso soup was absolutely perfect. If I am near this restaurant I will definitely go again.
Excellent food, attentive service. Had Pork Belly Frites, nice and crispy spicy. Unagi Don, excellent Japanese style smoked and bbq eel. Tonkatsu ramen bowl with pork belly, on point.
Yuga Sushi was a pleasant unexpected surprise. The staff was courteous and helpful, our waiter Billy was friendly and personable answering a myriad of questions and special orders with no issues. The food is Amazing !!! Todays orders included Hamichi with Jalapeno, 2 orders of Spicy Pork Ramen with Pork Belly ( LITERAL Slabs) a modified California Roll and Modified Spicy Tuna Roll, and a Bowl of Edamame big enough for 10 people. Of special note was the Hamichi and Jalapenos plate.. I have tried this dish from coast to coast, California to Florida and I have never had better. The Cuts of Hamichi melted in your mouth with the a light hit of spice from the Jalapeno and the pop of the Roe garnish will rate on this reviewers Top 3 in the nation taking the coveted #1 spot. Beautiful restaurant, amazing food, and even better service! We enjoyed our meal thoroughly. Seaweed salad, charashi meal and pork belly ramen were big hits! We also enjoyed a nice bottle of sake. We recommend Yagu to anyone who loves a fresh and filling meal.
Probably the Best sushi I've had! We asked Ben what his suggestion was and he said his special so we chose to let him pick 4 rolls. I don't like spicy but I LOVED all of his rolls including the ones with Jalapenos! We will for sure be back!
Gyōza appeared freezer burned. The spicy ramen tasted like a crab boil with undercooked house-made noodles (mushy raw pasta) and the egg was cold. Pork belly in the ramen was tasty though.
