Really enjoyed our time at this restaurant. To be fair to them we went on a rainy day. All of the food was very good. I chose the grouper sandwich blackened. I can’t tell you why it wasn’t 5 stars I’ll say 4.5 and for sure will be back
Eat there on a Friday night and even though the valet lot was full We parked on the grass along the road and there was still plenty of tables inside and out. We ate on the back back area which for a hot muggy evening was surprisingly cool with all the fans! We had the crab cakes and the grouper and Gator bites and everything was fantastic. Same with the drinks. Would highly recommend dinner here! Oh, and we also had a wonderful view of the water at dusk!
I ate here by myself today, Sunday. Received a top notch service. I asked to be seated nearest to the water with a nice view, and that's what I got. Anthony, my waiter provided a superior service. Food and drink were delicious. I will be returning and bring some friends next time.
Great place right on the water with plenty of seating inside and outside. Great service and good food. I honestly never had Mahi tacos with so much fish! Nice to see it survived the destructive hurricane.
We stopped in here for a late lunch. Early dinner. I got the fish and chip basket. My husband got the fish sandwich. Everything was good except the coleslaw was very bland and dry. The atmosphere and the view was 10/10. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. When in town we will definitely be back.
Chris was amazing and the best server! So lovely and moved with our vibe. The brightest soul and very genuine The coconut cocktails was made by one of the servers too and fantastic! The best! Get the grouper! And the coconut drink
Great waterfront restaurant on Matlacha island. I had read other reviews about the valet parking but there was no valet when we got there so we just parked ourselves. The restaurant has done a very good job of giving you an island vibe. The roof looks like the top of a grass hut. We sat on the outer deck near the water. For drinks I ordered the Mango carts IPA beer. I thought it was great. My wife hated it. They have lots of great seafood choices. I ordered the grouper sandwich with coleslaw. My wife ordered the fish and chips. The grouper fish sandwich was amazing. My wife also loved the fish and chips. If I have to criticize anything it would be the coleslaw. It needs more taste
Other than that, everything was great. We enjoyed wonderful waterfront while dining and the waitress was very nice. If you go to Matlacha please visit Yucatan bar and grill.
We all enjoyed our day on the boat even my furry pal who came home with a new friend to nap with after a long day on the boat! We so enjoyed the atmosphere… food and I appreciated the doggy menu.
