I had a wonderful time at the yucatan taco stand from the bartender to the lady that greeted me when I came in!! The food was amazing!!! The margarita that I had was a 10 out 10!!!! Definitely stop by it was my pre-birthday stop I will be coming back soon!????????????
Came to OKC with a convention. My friend Cole and I chose to try out the Yucatan Taco Stand and Tequila Bar. We are so glad we did! First of all, Kyla greeted us at the front and helped us pick the right dishes and drinks! Thank you, Kyla, for the recommendations! I had the chorizo burrito bowl, and Cole had the sirloin burrito. Both were fantastic! Loved the flavors and the medium heat. The Salsa and queso dip was fantastic. Cole says the queso is a must try! When in OKC at Bricktown, eat at the Yucatan Taco Stand. Make sure to tell Kyla hey! Find a table on the balcony by the river. Great atmosphere and really lived the Margarita!
I came into this place expecting great food because of the reviews, but man I was surprised of how bad it was! The place was completely empty (now I understand why) I ordered some tacos since it was taco Tuesday, worst tacos I’ve had in my life. First they charge more for different proteins, they charge a whooping 9 dls for a “beef fajita” taco that is all lettuce, tomatoes no meet, the taste is just as bad and the little meat that you might find in there, I’m pretty sure is not fajita. Please just do yourselves a favor and look somewhere else if Mexican food is what you crave. Will never come vac to this place and do not recommend to anyone.
Worst experience ever. We placed our order and got our food and within 5mins and guy comes to ask if we are done with chips while my kids were eating. Paid $7 dollars for yuca fries and had only 9 individual fries. Had to return it once because fries were hard as rock and second time we received fries, it was cold, probably uncooked. Nothing like the picture. Online menu different than in person. Order elote ribs and it was cold. Also, green chili Mac n cheese was lukewarm and salty. Hopes were high to go eat here according to pictures but looked like run own. You have to order and pay at one place and pay at bar for drinks. Self serve type of restaurant.
Had a great time here grabbing some really good food! Outside dining by the canal just adds to the experience when it’s nice outside. I recommend getting the burrito with some habanero hot sauce. (It’s not that hot) note that you have to order food before finding a table, and they will bring it to you. The staff was nice, and don’t forget to check out the amazing drinks at the bar!
I came in town with my two daughters to visit my youngest daughter and her husband to be. We were wanting a drink and this place was suggested. We what a great idea this was. We ordered one of each of the margaritas. Wow we are happy we did. The best ones I can remember having. And plenty strong enough. If you have a chance I suggest stopping by. Steven and Kyla will be more than happy to serve you with a real smile.
The grilled vegetarian sandwich on torta bread was amazing and tasted delicious. Vegetarian nachos were great as well. I can’t wait to go back to try other items from the menu. I cannot recommend enough the sandwich on torta bread. Being a vegetarian, I loved that they have multiple vegetarian options. And I almost forgot mentioning about green chillies mac and cheese which was the best I have ever had.
Destroyed a plate of beef nachos - the trashy kind. Great, kind service. Affordable and plentiful portions. Fabulous location on the river walk.
