Here me out on this..... the value is definitely there. Paid 71 bucks for a round of golf. The greens were well maintained, fairways too.
My only gripe is the bunkers. I'm attaching a picture for reference. The bunkers were a mixture of sand and gravel. There was no way I was going to hit my wedge into that and risk damage to my club, so I took a drop.
It was like that throughout the course. A yard of cheap sand costs about 80 bucks, please invest in that.
Also, on the turn I had the absolute best cheeseburger and fries. It took 20 minutes, i should have called the order in.
All things considered, it was a great round of golf, staff was kind, and the overall experience was one that I'd do again.
I hope this review is seen by management and my suggestions are taken in the kind spirit in which they are intended.
My home course and I really love it here. Friendly staff, helpful golf pros, and I’ve had very enjoyable rounds with whomever I’ve been paired with on the course. It’s pretty busy, so don’t expect to play as a single - but the layout is fun, greens are gorgeous, with several stunning mountain view holes.
I'm surprised by all the positive reviews. I played it 8/24 and it was one of worst maintained courses I played in 20 years. The bunkers were filled with huge puddles of water. Since it hasn't rained in months it's there sprinkler system. Weeds growing in the middle of fairways. Bare spots around greens. The greens were punched and I was not told when I made the tee time. Most of the positive reviews were from a view months ago. Did it get that bad in two months?
Course is in great shape, greens almost healed. Need sand on the carts to replace divots.
This course is in great condition! The Men's club is very active, friendly, and well run. The food is wonderful, and green fees, beer and food are very reasonably priced! Challenging but fair track. You'll love it!
Yucaipa Valley is a nice park course in the valley. Very playable course. Greens were good. The bunkers were a little bit wet due to the rain. I had good company with Adam, Rick and Jake. The staff was friendly.
Great Golf course, the people are awesome and the play was fast.
Excellent place to play golf. One of the best kept greens in the area. I liked it better than Sierra Lakes in Fontana. I will definitely keep coming back!... Since my last review I decided to become a member. Definitely a great place to play!
