This Yours Truly location I haven't been to in a while. This is one of the original starters(correct me if I'm wrong????). The customer service, quality food, and restaurant appearance is A+. Never have we been disappointed at this location. They had a gentleman running the kitchen, and he was really on top of things for sure. You don't see that nowadays. Let me tell you that's taking care of business, and it was Father's Day
Update*****
This location just opened back up this week after major renovation, and it looks fantastic. It's seems like more space, and they added a bar. The food and customer service are still great. My order wasn't like I ordered, and my server Vertell was on it. Everything was corrected before I could start eating, now that's great customer service
Used to really enjoy this place. Not sure if it's a permanent change or not. But the burger and French toast we got today were NOT up to par - both very bland. Even the soda wasn't mixed correctly. But the fries were actually good. Not sure if we'll be back.
Quick service and great food. Not So Fries are fantastic.
We had a great meal here. Abby was a fabulous server. We had breakfast for supper. We all had omelets but we each got a different side. I got a gluten free pancake, my mother in law got hash browns & my wife got the gluten free toast. Everything was great. Fast, friendly and cooked well.
Always for the most part have the sunrise with scrambled eggs and sausage links. Eggs were cooked perfectly. The food is good. Waitress was friendly.
October 2021: I really like the Yours Truly chain because they are consistent and serve good food. I ordered the Killit Skillet, which has scrambled eggs atop a bed of hash browns, 2 pieces of bacon ????, 2 pieces of sausage patties, and 2 slices of buttered toast. I ordered the freshly squeezed orange juice to wash it down with. All of it was served in a hot skillet and was delicious.
Pros:
* Friendly wait staff. My waitress was pretty swift and attentive to my needs.
* Prices are still super reasonable for the amount of food that they provide.
* Ambience is chill and somewhat reminiscent of a diner-bar hybrid. I say that because they have a couple of flat screen TVs mounted inside for the folks interested in casually looking at sports.
* The orange juice was really good. Tasted like freshly squeezed Valencia oranges.
* Tables and silverware were clean. I inspected the hard-to-clean areas such as the tines of the fork to make sure ????.
Cons:
* It can get really busy and may take a few minutes to get seated.
* Parking is free, but can get hectic because this is a busy plaza with several popular, high-demand restaurants in a single cluster.
A simple transaction turned into a moment of misery! I did take out order online. Haven't been to this location in years. Got there in 15 minutes. A young lady greeted me as soon as I walked in, was nice went to check on my order and came and said their making your order right now please have a seat. I waited in 2nd waiting section I guess you would call it for 40-45!!! The young lady i guess had other duties she had to go and do. There was some man with dreads who was a waiter and another working at the bar. They both came and asked all the other customers waiting for their orders who they were to get them their orders but didn't think to ask me?? I know they saw me sitting there in the first seat for a long time waiting and the other young lady who first greeted me didn't think to check to see if my order was sitting there once she saw time going by and all the other patrons gone? And of course my order was sitting there the whole time! After 40 minutes I decide to move to the first set of chairs since those customers were getting the attention. The young finally comes back and looks at the only bag sitting there and it was mines. She had a "oops im sorry" look when she said this is yours but you came by it a couple of times. I just didn't understand why I was so overlooked. This was so simple. I told her that I just want a refund, I didn't even want the food anymore. She called two managers up and she was like im so sorry. She gave me the bag with the food in it and said she was giving me a gift card but the gift card was for only 15 and I said well my original bill came up yo 29 dollars. Then they said well we can give you a credit for the next time you come and I said i probably most likely will not be back. So then they gave me a full refund. I have an idea of why i was treated the way i was because of the area this is in but I'll keep that too myself. There was no reason this simple transaction went the way it did!
I dont know what it is about this location. Yours truly is sincerely a GoTo. But not this one. Last handful of times the food and service were subpar. 40 minute ticket times but food was brought out cold. That means it sat in the window too long. The restaurant is not understaffed. I ordered a burger that was overcooked and cold. The waitress was a hot mess. Onion ring order had 4 rings in it. Manager comped our order. What good does that do when the lunch was terrible? Not going back for awhile. Maybe never. Three times needs to be a charm and we're batting .190 right now ????
