Stopped here to check out the upstairs Christmas bar. Lots of holiday themed beverages. This place is a diner, so temper your expectations when it comes to food. It’s good, not great. I had the General Tso’s chicken dish. It was fine. Service was perfect. The decor upstairs during Christmas is fun! Lots of things to look at! Definitely worth a visit if you love a diner style restaurant.
I stopped at this quaint lil diner on a recommendation. Let me say it was off the charts. I had Emily as my Server, and she was so helpful and kind. She made the experience amazing. I had their Hot Buffalo Chicken wrap and it was excellent great heat and flavor for the sauce and the portion was on point. This is a must stop when in the area
We went inside the restaurant and we were guided to our table super fast. It was a super awesome start; that was good. Then, the rest of the dinner got better. Server was generous and kind to us, especially when we placed our order. We were given very wonderful glasses of water. That was incredibly compassionate. Wasn't long before my wonderful chocolate milkshake was delivered. Staff wasted zero time making our foods and drink. This restaurant is filled with so much considerate, compassionate, and super-fabulous, loyal service. Staff is super excellent; and the chocolate milkshake was spectacular, even superb. Even the plain hamburger delivered to me was superb. And that was great. And everything about this place is great and awesome, even the service and staff. This is one very wonderful restaurant. With that, I owe the honor of providing us with super loyal, kind, caring service to this loyal staff. I am forever grateful for the staff and wonderful service they provided us with.
Food was very good. Got the chicken noodle soup and would definitely get again. The turkey club is huge and tasty. Chicken sandwich and fried artichokes were also yummy. I would order them again also. Service unfortunately wasn't very friendly or fast. No refills on drinks and kinda rude at one point. The server did become more friendly once things settled down.
We asked for a table upstairs and a front desk girl nicely went up and checked for us. It took a long time to get our food except my lentil soup. Appletini was good but Cod was basically tasteless and sweet potato fries were cold. I had half sandwich and soup at Mayfield and it was fine, so maybe it is safer to stay with it.
Nickel and Dime me over some French Fries.
I moved here in 1997. Graduated in '09. I play lacrosse for the Cleveland Demons, #50. Management is so poor, I ordered a burger, and they gave me no fries because I didn't ask for them. This was years ago and I haven't been back since.
I remember when it was the hole in the wall. Then they expanded in the back room. Then they did the grand renovation. Then they Nickel and Dime me over some French Fries. I didn't know management was that poor.
The food is mid. If I want a burger, I'll make a better one myself. I didn't beat Pittsburgh, Detroit, & Columbus for poor people to Nickel and Dime me over some French Fries.
I haven't been back. I'll only eat there again if the food is free; which I have earned & deserve no less.
I ordered food from YT on 8/18/20 for dinner take out. The kitchen staff had masks but, they were not in place and were under their chins. As I was waiting for someone to get my carry out food I watched a cook Wipe his face With his gloved hand And continue on. Gross, really gross and unsanitary during these time if needed to keep all that away fro our food.
Update tried yours truly again on September 20. Came in with a group 4 of us and when I made my order, I told the waitress I would like the envelope with the veggie patty in it and if they could cook a veggie patty separately, not on the grill since I’m a vegan. When I was in the restaurant, I ate half of my Sandwich and took the other half home. When I went to heat up my sandwich I noticed there was chicken in my sandwich. How does this happen? On the menu it says dietary restrictions are honored in their menu. Apparently not I don’t know if the Cook that it was funny to do something like this might as well Eyeball or a big blob of hair in my food. I’m vegan and gross when I specifically request special handling of my order and this is what happens. I think I’m done with yours truly just can’t do it anymore.
We decided to try this place because we were in the area, and it was worth it! The staff were very friendly and professional, the food was well cooked and the cinnamon ice cream on the apple pie was delicious!
The decor and setting are nice, pretty much your typical modern family restaurant feel, and there's good parking right behind the restaurant block.
