We love going to Crystal buffet since moving to Palm Bay and today we thought of trying Young's buffet for a change during the lunch time and all the food items, ambience, and the service were really nice and great. There was a lot of food items to choose from and everything was hot and fresh. We will be going here again soon. Loved it!!
It's really hit n miss here. Some mussels and shrimp had no taste or were old, while others good. Wontons were inedible but pork was great. Sushi was quite simply gross but egg tarts were delicious. Overall, don't recommend.
I would love this place if they would just give you time to eat and experience and wonderful time with your family and or friends but instead they are quick to grab your empty plate like you are feeling very rushed to eat and get out of their restaurant. I mean as soon as they see an empty plate they come grab it and ask my daughter if she was done with her soup bowl as my daughter is taking a sip from her soup so clearly my child was not done eating or drinking her hot soup! Also, privacy on how we leave our tip for the waitress is highly inconsiderate! I have noticed 3 times now I have gone to Young’s Buffet and I have the Asian waitress standing over me and my purse literally over your table waiting for your cash or card to take your bill up to pay for the bill and seeing how much tip they are getting I mean looking over your wallet to see how much tip you will leave for them which I find highly rude and very disrespectful! If I come here again and they do this I will no longer come back to this buffet! Also, their food this last experience water was overly hot to where I would literally burn my fingers to pick up the tongs to be able to grab my food and something things overly dried and burnt on the bottom of the dumplings and the sugar donuts. I understand we pay for the price we eat at but please have some respect for people eating don’t hover over them like you are rushing us to get out let us experience a pleasurable and pleasant atmosphere and smile as to how you greet your costumers and let us enjoy being in your restaurant! Trust me you would get a better tip if you come and check to refill our drinks more often and maybe checking to see empty plates at this time. I actually had to come here 3 times to see the continuous treatment before I left this review. Let’s see if for the 4th time I can have a better experience with this restaurant when I come again! I had stop coming to this young’s buffet for many years and I was wondering why I did?! Maybe this is why. Good food makes bad company when feeling watched and rushed to get out! Remember not everyone is rich ???? and bougie and we can only do what we can and we will base our tips on our experiences that is with every restaurant not just young’s buffet you all are not the only one I have experienced this with so just understand I do reviews base on truths and facts of experience of how many times this actually happens not once not twice but this was the third time this happened with your restaurant. 3 different times! Before I decided to finally leave a review for Young’s buffet let’s see if their are others who have experienced what my family experienced or if I am the only one. Came in at 11:00 as they opened. Staff were quick to seat us and very friendly. Food was amazing. Everything was fresh and just cooked. Tons of choices for the meal and for dessert. They have a wonderful selection on their Sushi bar also. If you are looking for a good Chinese Buffet in Palm Bay, look no further. We highly recommend giving them a try.
I've been going here since I was a kid and the food still hits till this day! They have a nice variety of foods and from my experience the food is always amazing. Also have never had any problems with the staff they're always friendly and are quick to offer drink refills when they see you're running out! This buffet is seriously one of the best buffets to go to! ❤️
Ps. The salmon, coconut shrimp, and cheese ragoons are heavenly ????
Large variety, good quality at a decent price! Went here today as my father in law goes here once a week. Really tasty food and loads of options all great quality. Plenty of things for the kids too. Lots of nice desserts including 6 different flavours of really good quality icebreaker m ice cream with toppings and a chocolate fountain. They also have a Mongolian/hibachi grill area where you can pick from a number of different meats and fish items and sauces and they will cook it right there fresh on front of you. This included with the price too. Would definitely recommend!
Huge, clean Restaurant! The food was all very fresh and absolutely delicious!! Everything we tried was absolutely fantastic. My husband is 6' 5" and can eat alot. He got so full, he almost forgot they had a dessert bar that is enormous. I got my own hot pot of tea and it was perfect. He had unsweetened cold tea, and said it was the freshest tasting from any restaurant! We had an attentive waitress and she would quickly take our plates and refill his tea while we were getting more food. When she saw us almost done with our dessert, she quietly placed the bill on the table. We have both worked restaurants and know a perfect waitress/waiter. We told her we would be back and would like her to be our waitress. Her name is Annie.
The total bill was only $4 more than eating at the Philly place a couple doors down!! We will be coming back at least once a week, if not more!!
Food was hot and yummy since i go there usually around 11 when it opens so i get every thing fresh. It looks like this place has different ownership and i don't see the old manager any more but one thing i didn't like was that they were pretty much forcing me to tip when i went to pay the lady saw that i signed the receipt and kept pointing at the tip and asking for tip but i told her i barely had enough to cover for the food itself so i just gave them the dollar i had in my wallet. I didn't find that very professional and a tip should never be demanded as it is a gratuity and is given based on the will of the customer. I won't say it will stop me from eating here but it did catch me off guard and seemed very aggressive outright demanding a tip.
